FRESH DENTAL CARE - 45 South / Edgebrook, Houston TX

I'm just coming out from fresh dental and I'm very dessapointed. My son has one brace broken wire out they just cut the wire and because Dr. Carlos is not there they didn't put it back the brace. Instead they scheduled an appointment until Monday.

Quick same day appointment. Even though I was five minutes late Due to traffic my wait time was more then 5 mins wait time before I was called in… Simply the best quality fast service and attention from the dentist and assistant… always asking if I was ok… thanks for your services

For adults is good but they don’t know how work with kids! Bad bad bad services for kid my baby is 2 years Im not recommended this place for kids!

My kids have been visiting this place for a little over a year now. We finally arranged to get braces for them in July 2023, I added a new insurance to alleviate the cost when I called multiple times to speak to the billing department I never got a call back. Every time I called before my appointment no one knew how much I needed to pay for the upcoming appointment. It’s so frustrating and bothering that after 4 months I don’t know what my updated quote for my twins braces is after I’ve paid round $1900 out of pocket. My daughter had an appointment today and the receptionist told me the cost of he visit today was going to be $146, I paid and I explained to her I had insurance and it should be less. She went to talk to her coworkers and came back and said that after the insurance paid them they were going to be able to give me updated pricing. I called my insurance immediately and was told Fresh Dental has no even submitted any orders for ortho WHAT A HUGE SLAP IN THE FACE. I went to tell the lady that lied to my face I needed to talk to someone she said I had to wait, after an hour of waiting and my frustration I called another fresh dental and moved my children. I will not continue to get lied to my face by these receptionist and billing department at 45 south and edgebrook, they probably taught I was an ignorant Hispanic that was going to believe all of their lies I wonder how many people they do this too! Keep in mind when I confirmed my appointment I asked whoever called what was going to be the cost of the appointment the receptionist said well you have 2 insurances it shouldn’t be anything!

Maria excels in treating patients at front desk. Additionally Ms. Flower is the best hygienist ever.
She cleaned my teeth beyond my expectations with a gentle hand she let me shiny teeth, that is why, I am her loyal customer for many years to come. Keep it up Fresh Dental Care!

My experience was great. This was my first time. Very professional. The Dental Office was Clean. I felt Comfortable. The Dentist was nice. They also explained the Work, I need to have done.

I had such a great experience with Dr. Ma and his assistant Jo Angel, they made me feel super comfortable. Also thank you for Victoria for making this such a quick and easy experience.

Worst place for braces. First of all, be prepared to wait 1-3 hours after your appointment time. Second, the assistants do not know what they are doing. We go monthly for adjustments and have had issues every single visit because something was done wrong or not done at all. Please don't waste your money here.

Dr. MA and his assistant Angel were the best! My experience was pleasant, they walked me step by step through the procedure. His assistant was phenomenal, didn’t have to tell her anything as she kept comfortable through the whole procedure! High recommend!

I would not recommend putting in an appointment at Fresh Dental 45 South Houston.
They don't call you for any schedule changes on their side and if you don't get there some fifteen - thirty minutes ahead to sign in, they brush over your appointment without saying a word to you.
Even if you're early you have to wait an hour or more in the waiting room and then some in whatever room they place you in. The scheduling is horrendous, the doctor is always late and it's always like this, every single time. "The doctor is very busy. ", so is that a scheduling problem you're trying to pin on me?
I tried to go in for my appointment at one p.m. And was turned away with a schedule change (because the doctor went on lunch break) and to be back around two.
They didn't call to give me a heads up about the change which is a pain. I have school and I can't show up, expect to wait to be seen, only for them to just change things up last minute like I myself have nothing to do. Their priorities obviously lie elsewhere and it's not on the people who come in in need for some professional help.
In addition, the people working there are a hit and miss. Sometimes you get a friendly face but most times you get a grumpy person who looks very annoyed, has the air of not wanting to be there, and are hurrying you up.
Especially the ladies at the front desk, most look at you disdainfully and are barely any help at all.
During a previous appointment one specific lady, who was looking at the payment plan I set up with a different young lady, just kept badgering on and complaining about how the other young lady didn't write any notes down and how she didn't do the scheduling right, in a VERY LOUD volume. The young lady did in fact do everything correctly. It was incredibly disrespectful to the other worker, myself, and my family who had been there. There was no regard for anyone else but herself.
It was disheartening and disappointing to see in a supposedly professional dental office.
I will be looking to a different place for dental services once I have everything I already paid for done.

I really don’t understand the whole point of an appointment on this place. They take forever to get you in Ive been waiting for more than two hours and its not the first time, even though you get here before the appointment the waiting time is horrible. So ask for your day off at work if you are coming to the dentist because you make a whole shift here.

I was pleasantly surprised, I’ve had bad experience with dentist in the past. Today I can honestly say is the first time I enjoyed going to the dentist, very professional and gentle.

We are from California waiting to go on a cruise. My daughter needed immediate care. Fresh Care Dental went out of their way to take care of my daughter. I cannot thank them enough for their professional service.

The wait, even with an appointment, is horrible!
I don't recommend this place.
I had to wait more than two hours.
