Our Doberman with a case of the zoomies had a close encounter with some screws that were left exposed by the manufacturer of our trampoline, and he ended up getting degloved (skinned), losing almost half the skin on his right side. FEPC was absolutely amazing. Our beloved dog was close to dying in a scenario painful and gruesome, with muscle and a rib exposed, and they saved his life. And while you hate thinking of money in these situations, FEPC’s costs were entirely reasonable for the care and surgery performed. The vets and staff were outstanding, following up with us every step of the way. Our dog now only has a nice scar, which is great considering the very real alternative we thought we were going to be faced with on that day. Thank you, Frisco Emergency Pet Care.

Our pet emergency was received immediately upon arrival and with the utmost care. We were greeted with compassion and so was our pup throughout his care. Thank you for the professionalism and continued updates we hoped for during our pets visit. Our puppy is doing well thanks to the care he received!

I am so glad this place opened so close to us, our little fur baby was choking and not getting enough air, my husband ran in the front door with her and they immediately rushed her back to take care of her. I am happy to report they took great care of her and she is safely back home.

Great staff! I appreciate the detailed discharge notes and the time the vet spent explaining the situation.

I recently had a panleuk outbreak at my rescue, and I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional care provided by the team at Frisco Emergency Pet Care. From the moment I walked in, their professionalism and compassion were evident.

The staff was not only skilled and knowledgeable but also incredibly empathetic and understanding of the distress I was going through. They acted swiftly and decisively to stabilize my pets and ensure their comfort. Their new state-of-the-art facilities and equipment are incredible.

Throughout the entire ordeal, the veterinarians and techs communicated transparently, keeping me informed about my babies' condition and treatment options.

What really sets them apart is their commitment to going above and beyond. They not only provided life saving care, but clear and easy to follow aftercare instructions and resources for continued recovery.

I am profoundly grateful to the entire team at FEPC for their expertise, kindness, and support during such a distressing time. They are the epitome of what an emergency vet clinic should be, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in need of urgent pet care. Thank you for being there when it mattered most.

This is a five-star kill shelter! Best there is. We took a little 8-week-old puppy Chiquita to FEPCK for parvo. Hoping to try and spend whatever and do whatever to try and save her. Covid in the air, so we had to hand her over in the parking lot and couldn't be with her or provide her with her blanket.

But don't worry, during her last 3-4 days they took great care to staple her feeding tube to her forehead. You know, so it wouldn't come out when she was crying and pulling at it.

And we were so excited to get the call Saturday morning at 7 that she was coding/dying and to hurry in. Thankfully, we rushed up to the FEPCK parking lot, but this time they let us come in!

The tatted-up nurse promptly brought Chiqui out and handed her to our teenage daughter. She asked why she wasn't moving and the nurse said, "because she's dead, " shrugged, and walked out.

So, yeah, if your pet is sick and it's an emergency, you can trust FEPCK to ensure her first and last few days on earth will be something you never forget.

Care was thorough and staff kind. Cost was VERY expensive for 24 hours. I would take my dog back in an emergency but the cost is prohibitive for someone on social security, as I am.

We were there this past Friday night with our 13 yr old Chiweenie, Luke (Lukey). You guys were so patient, so kind, so encouraging. You explained everything step by step. You gave us the right amount of privacy and the right amount of interaction while we were grieving our sudden decision and our huge loss. You allowed time for the whole family to arrive. At no time did we feel pressured to hurry in saying goodbye or paying for extra things. We can never thank you all enough for the beautiful blessing you all were to us.but know we are truly thankful for you! May God bless you all and remind you of us and our gratitude on the especially hard days. From the family of Lukey Hightower.

Our 10-year-old cat Linus was very sick due to many factors. In the end, for his sake, we had to make that choice that every pet parent dreads. The doctor and everyone were just amazing and so kind. They are an absolute incredible blessing.

What an amazing emergency pet care!

This morning I was panicking because my dog was not feeling well! I contacted the clinic and they immediately mentioned that I can walk in and that the vet will see my dog asap.

The vet was very reassuring and the rest of the staff, all lovely. I felt relieved since I knew that my Bali was in good hands!

Thank you for everything, I highly recommend this place!

The entire staff was friendly form the moment I contacted them. From the receptionist to the techs to the vet. Everyone greeted me, took the time to answer all my questions without making me feel rushed, and was really loving with my dog. Someone even showed me how to properly pick up my dog and helped me carry my dog to my car. The patience and kindness you had in explaining the diagnosis and at home care and answering all my questions meant a lot. Thank you so much!

It was my distinct impression my bill was being padded. I think that because my dog had started getting better by the time I got there. And he didn't get sick in the four hours they had him. But when I thought to leave "oh. It's the dogs adrenaline from being in the car. That's why he looks better. " Ok fine. But the dog is now grinning like a jackass, I've had him for 13 years, I can tell when he's in a good mood.yet they gave him $70 nausea medication? They said he licked his lips and that was a sign he had nausea. Plus they send him home with a probiotic he's supposed to take for a few days, that they wanted to charge $70 for (almost 100% markup compared to Chewy). Why? Because I said he had diarrhea that morning. And they gave him $70 in "injectable" fluids. On top of $175 exam fee. I did say he had lost weight recently and oh boy did they want to do the big panel of blood work tests. I asked to just do the basic one and they made sure to put in their comments how I insisted on a "conservative" approach.

I protested these things because I have financial trouble but they practically insisted on it. Like I was the bad guy for not wanting to do it. I ultimately went along with it because I don't want to override a doctor when my beloved dogs health is in question. Even if that means I don't trust what I'm being asked to pay.

Another way to put it this.when I eat something bad (which is what they concluded), and I get sick, if I were to go to the doctor at all (which I haven't despite getting food poisoned 2-3 times), and I said I was feeling better, I don't think my doctor would hook me up to an IV. Nor do I think he would send me home with nausea medication. And if I had diarrhea once, I dont see him prescribing me a $70 probiotic. Especially if I said I had been laid off and please don't do anything unnecessary. In the end, they did give me a discount that accounts for the markup on the two of the treatments. But at the end of the day, I suspect my love for my pet was used to leverage $409 out of me that was unnecessary.

It is always hard to take your loved animal to the vet let alone an emergency vet. They are hands down amazing. They take the time needed to explain and work with you. If you need an emergency vet go here. They are very reasonable on pricing also. Thank you to the amazing staff.
