FuFu Café, Houston TX

Came to enjoy food like the Chinese Cafe at Bellaire, which closed down a few years back. Recommendation.donot come anywhere near this useless restaurant. Atrocious and disgusting service and terrible food. Much better places available in the same area. I would rate food in minus and service in 5 minus if an option was available. Order kumpao chicken, hot spicy chicken and dumplings. Good quantity not quality. Plus the lacadaisical attitude of the waitress. A

I do not recommend that you go to this place, they give bad service, they do not speak English and they also add the tip without realizing it, only if you look at the bill you realize what they are doing, be very careful if you go to this place

Got the pork and cabbage dumplings, seafood soup, chicken lo mein, and the black bean chicken. The dumplings were okay. The soup size was enormous and it easily had 8 servings. The chicken was not bad. The noodles were overly greasy. The wait staff was very rude. I would try fu fu restaurant for a wider menu and hopefully better service

Open late and food is tasty. I definitely recommend the HK Pork (it’s on the sweet side) and the spicy chicken (spicy for sure but the flavors are on point).

Is it really a Bellaire staple if the service was amazing? You’ll have to flag down the ladies for refills and whatever else you want, but you’re gonna get served and eat your fill. Just be firm (not too aggressive) to get their attention and get what you need.

We have been going to FuFu restaurant across from this one for years and it has always been good - until recently. A few months back we got our order and everything was different. If it was close, I would have returned it but I live in Pearland and it is not worth it to drive there for that.

The sizzling seafood in black bean sauce was way undercooked I worried about eating some of the seafood items for fear of them not being cooked and getting sick. The beans were soggy and some pieces were hard and the onion pancakes were not crispy.

I wanted to try this one as opposed to the one we usually get (Fufu restaurant) as I thought maybe the quality would be better but it was worse.

This is the last time I will go there and will certainly stop recommending to others.

Service was quick - it was between lunch and dinner. The restaurant was relatively empty and quiet, which was nice. The soup dumplings were absolutely delicious and hit the spot.

First time here and waitresss was very helpful with recommendations and did not let us down food was delcious, the dumplings, pork buns, the sizzling chicken with black sauce, pork ribs and soup were all very good!

Let’s go to the point. Their food is good. Order to go and avoid the rudeness of the waitresses. Mainly the new big woman and the lady casher. When you don’t like them they start to gossip about you back stage in their language. Their attitude leaves a lot to talk about.

Very bad customer service and the food. Also not delicious but destroy some other restaurant.

I could honestly eat my body weight of the pan fried steamed buns. Everything here is so good, if you have the coin to spare, take a group and have their hot pot.

First, the chairs on our table has water dripping on it. We told th.but nobody clean them. The soup was like plain water due to bland taste. When Calamare and friesd rice arrived, it was SALT OVERLOAD! My kids drank all the water and had a hard time eating the rest because of drinking water to flush the salt off their mouth. Pan fried noodles is fine. Tofu is fine. The soft shell crab took forever to arrive. We were ready to leave and pay coz my kids are asleep on the table. We asked them to pack the crab on the go box.gues what? They served in on our table! When we asked for to go boxes for the rest of our orders, it took forever to gave us the cover for the containers. From all of this waiting we already paid but they kept my credit card until everything was done.what the heck? ! I do not want to stay that long for a poor service, poor quality food they got. I think people come there coz they are the few that are open past 9pm.

I dined in with five friends for a late lunch/dinner, split these seven dishes, and all got plenty to eat. The restaurant wasn’t busy at the time we were there and we stayed for about 45 minutes. Very satisfied with the service of the staff and the dining experience.
