Gabriel's Wine & Spirits reviews
13First time being in the store and I had a horrible experience it only took one member of the staff to make me feel like a 5 year old by scolding me after I unknowingly got a bottle of liquor from the wrong place I was yelled to quote “ PUT THAT BACK” after speaking with the manager which she did apologize and assured me that it will never happen again I have no desire to give them my business
The best water well
i call it
with the great variety of liquors to choose from
in the Southside of San Antonio Texas
prices unbelievable
This is place I go to most of the time employees are friendly and nice the place is clean.and I know where everything is at.my opinion only aka Golden 1 sorry I didn't take any pictures.next time.
Very rude and snotty lady working there. Most everyone there is kind and courteous, but the lady with glasses is not. She is so concerned about people standing behind the white line even if there is no one in line. I thought if no one in line you go to counter and place your order. I don’t know if she got on her knees and painted that white line herself or what because she is a freak about the white line. If she’s not happy with her job she should retire and go sit on a rocking chair. She will definitely make more customers happy if she’s not there. I can’t believe a company would keep an employee like that. Customer service is everything in a business. So I will definitely go somewhere else like 5 blocks down the road to purchase anything & will tell family & friends to stay away from this store. Poor lady, she definitely doesn’t have Jesus in her life because she is making other people’s days ugly!
The most rude old lady I've ever encountered. I wish I would went somewhere else completely ruined my day stay away from this place
We don't drink anymore, but they were really nice about giving us boxes for a cross country move. Such a stressful time, and the boxes have helped up so much. Thank you.
Rude, Nasty mean old lady my husband and I walked in and I asked for a crown Peach, the lady was sitting down ignoring us and rudely replied, There is a policy here did you stand behind the white line. Being that I have been in the service industry for a long time, I would say the Owners of this establishment take pride that they have an open Liquor store! I work for the a radio station here in San Antonio, and I will make it a point to speak about this on my show! Fire her… she does not have any Customer service.
Gabriel's is following COVID-19 guidelines, & they have a wide selection of products, but Not necessarily Sizes. I wanted a 200ml bottle of Jack Daniel's, but they only had 375ml & up.
The selection was alright at best in my opinion. If you are looking for cheaper level things to just drink, then it works. They didn't have very much when it came to anything unique or higher end.
Good spot for a quick bottle, just not a spot for me.
I'd say my experience with these guys was "distasteful" to say the least. My father just flew in from out of state and wanted a specific type of beer. I decided to oblige him by taking him here which was a first time experience for both of us. They told us immediately without hesitation to wear a mask or get out, despite having very little people within the business (6ft distance was more than manageable per the San Antonio Mask Ordinance). My father and I decided it would be best to just not argue and leave. Needless to say, we will continue to take our business to more hospitable establishements. I recommend a more well-known establishment located just northeast of this one.
The lady working was giving out samples of tequila, i cant remember what it was called but my husband and I went in to buy some single shots of Jose Cuervo because he had a sore throat, LOL.
The store was stocked but not like it used to be decades ago. I remember it had an overabundance of liquor before over 20 yrs ago. The person working the store was very helpful too.
