Galveston Massage

Had the most horrendous experience that I’ve ever had while getting a massage. I have been here in the past after finding the massage parlor on Groupon. I figured I would give it a try since there was a good deal. The first time I went was a great experience, had no issues and always said I would go back again since they have Groupon deals often. This time was a completely different experience. Scheduling the appointment was easy and hassle free but everything was horrible during the appointment. For starters, the masseuse talked the entire time so I could not even relax or enjoy the spa music that was playing. Secondly, she made weird comments about my body multiple times throughout the service, which made me very uncomfortable. Also, I asked for light pressure but she was still very aggressive. During the massage, she made a comment about making sure to a good job so she could get a good tip. And finally, after the massage, she asked how much I wanted to leave for a tip and I told her the amount and she suggested a higher amount. Seriously…Who does that? After the horrible service I received, you should be grateful to receive a tip at all. It seems that I am in even worse condition than I was before the massage. When I take the time to book an appointment and pay for a service, I expect to be treated a certain way and this experience did not at all meet my expectations. I am completely baffled and I will never go back to this establishment again nor do I recommend them to anyone else.

Made a last-minute appointment for a massage at the end of the day, and they were very accommodating. Great value for a straightforward massage experience. I plan to return during future visits.

The place is very affordable and they always do an outstanding job! I love Bobo, she is a very skillful masseuses. She knows all the pressure points, and I left feeling 100% better than before I walked in!

Galveston massage is my favorite place to get a massage. The Thai and deep tissue massages are done right here! I haven’t found a better place yet!

I went in today with my dad July 25 2020 at 6pm everything was going good until the a lady that was massaging me with a orange shirt asked me who was paying me or my dad I told her “I’m paying for both” and she said “you are leaving a good tip right” while she barely started massaging me I felt uncomfortable and couldn’t enjoy my massage after she said that I’m reading other reviews and there’s people having the same problem and the worst part is they keep replying saying they will fire the lady but she still keeps doing the same thing over and over horrible place to go

I came here expecting a relaxing but deep tissue massage. I didn't expect To be harassed and demanding that I leave at twenty dollars each. She ran my credit card for more than I authorized. I told her we had 2 30 minute massages.thar were $40 each. That's eighty, she add $20 to that. It costs one hundred and she put $120.00.she keeps trying to run card for more.

Now I think shady. Pay, cash.good luuck

My daughter & l went to Galveston last week. I needed a Massage bad. I looked on line & randomly picked this place. He gave me the best Massage with the hot rocks. Only $60 special. Unbelievable. I recommend them highly. Linda Fort Worth, Tx.

Pros: probably the cheapest massage you'll find. I spent $50 for an hour long full body and foot massage. They take walk ins. The vibe is super cool. She started with me laying down on my back still clothed, put my feet in a warm water bath, and massaged my face and head (amazing). Then she massaged my feet for quite a while, which I liked. This probably took 20-30 minutes, then I went to another room, undressed, and laid face down on a massage table. At the end, she offered a free hot rock massage across my back and it was actually pretty nice.

Cons: She used a hot towel to lay on my feet before wiping them down with it but it was too hot and burned me. She did the same thing in my back and it was too hot for just a second but then felt kinda good. Same with the rocks. There were times when it started to feel too hot but then subsided, so I guess I was always in suspense waiting for it to burn me, couldn't just relax. The bed only had a hole for your face, no separation or hole for your neck, so when she massaged my back, my throat would push into the bed and totally crush it and block my airway. It was hard to find a different way to position, and this happened so many times. And it wasn't even a deep tissue massage, so she wasn't even pushing hard. Overall, I didn't enjoy the back massage. It felt more uncomfortable than good.

Mother/Daughter trip to Galveston and my 21-year old daughter wanted a massage.her first one. They fit us in on a Sunday morning and the combo massage was great! He really tried to work the knots out of my upper back and neck but kept it relaxing. 100% recommend Galveston Message! My daughter loved it as well.

I’m a local and I’ve had massages all over the island. I came here today and was worked on by Tally (I doubt I’m spelling his name correctly). When I tell you that this was the best massage I have had in my life… doesn’t even begin to cover it. Most places just do the bare minimum and the basics when it comes to technique.he really took the time and worked on all the individual knots in my muscles all over my body. I have had severe tension, tightness and pain all up and down my back all through my neck and hips.
Today was the first day, and a very long time where I actually felt relief. All of the visits to my chiropractor didn’t do what my massage therapist did for me today and I greatly appreciate it and I will definitely be a loyal customer from here on out. I had the 90 minute deep tissue. He listened to all of my needs and concerned, and took very good care of me. Not only did he massage me, but he also stretched me out and popped my middle and lower back/hips. I myself am a fan of very deep pressure when I get massages. I don’t mind a little bit of pain because that just means the knots and tension are being worked out. I personally love it but not everyone is a custom to pain during a massage so make sure you communicate if you want a gentle Swedish or a deep tissue. I honestly cannot wait to come back. Great prices, clean environment, and a very friendly staff!

Took my wife here for an anniversary massage. She loved it, especially their hot stone massage. Great place for a good massage on island!

My husband and I where on vacation and came here for a couples massage. It was great! We have had massages in Oklahoma, Texas and California and this is the best we've had in a while.

I am from out of town. And I am a veteran. I was in desperate need of some relief from my lower back. They were able to get me right in and get me back on my feet so I can enjoy the rest of my vacation.very professional very reasonably priced.
AKA some might know me as jetboat Bill'S performance shop in Tulsa Oklahoma. I highly recommend them.

OK rates and decent work, but a short and unthorough manager ensures that they are far from the best option in the area.

Went in for a couples message and it was fine. My only issue was their comments during the massage. They kept commenting on my husbands body who was next to me and made me very uncomfortable. I tried my best to ignore but she kept going, I started peeking and noticed my masseuse was starring at him. I would recommend alone but not for couples. My husband had a great message and I don’t think I was taken care of properly.
