Awesome atmosphere. Great drinks and food! Great service by Cameryn! Never thought I would play board games when I eat or drink, but had a blast!
We will definitely be back!

I love it here. I just wish there was one closer to where I live but it's always a fun outing.

I was looking up things to do before visiting TX and stumbled upon this place. I thought it looked fun, and my friend that I was visiting was planning on taking us here already…so win-win!

Upon entering, there are 3 bookshelves to your left filled with a plethora of games- board games, card games, etc. The Sriracha card game stood out to me, so we decided to play that one and then classic Uno next. Our party of 4 was seated promptly and we ordered 2 carafes of mimosas to begin with, since it was brunch. Food wise, my friends ordered the Mel’s Migas, breakfast taco w/fries, and a mini pie combo with fries and an extra side of brussel sprouts. I got to try the brussel sprouts and they were fantastic. The menu says they were addicting and it sure was. I should have ordered my own side thinking about it now…haha.

I got the “Mini Pie Combo” ($9.50) that came with a side of fries. The pie crust was perfectly buttery and flaky, and the fries were delicious and crispy. I chose these 2 flavors for the pies:

VIET PHILLY: Vietnamese-style marinated beef, white cheddar, caramelized onions, & bell peppers. I didn’t really taste the “Viet” aspect of it, or the bell peppers and mine didn’t have too much cheese…but it was still good.

BBQ PULLED PORK: Slow roasted pork, memphis-style bbq sauce. I liked this one a lot better. Great flavor!

Overall, this is a fun place to have game day or night with your friends. They have a $2 library fee and everything on the menu from food to drinks are reasonably priced. I would come here again if I’m ever in the area!

A good place to have a fun game night. Decent selection of games and good drinks. Customer service was okay but can be improved.

Game Theory was so fun! We had a group of 12 and they were so helpful with helping us pick games good for our big group. Plus the food was great! I will definitely be back!

Excellent staff. They let us use the “party room” without paying the deposit, because it was not booked for the night. Very reasonable staff, passionate gamers, and attentive caretakers. Food was delicious, and would certainly go again.

Was just there last Saturday, and I am impressed by the amazing staff that took care of my family and I. Kevin was a phenomenal server who’s energy radiated throughout the entire restaurant. And shout out to queen for helping out too. I know a baddie when I see one

Queen & John-Michael were super helpful and bomb af! 10/10 would recommend.

Had a fun time celebrating a friend's birthday! The food was better than expected, honestly. Fries were crispy. Wings are good. Kevin recommended the Panther City drink and he didn't steer me wrong! It was delicious. Fun times. Will definitely come back to play games.

Fun atmosphere for families or a date night. John was super helpful and inviting. Royce’s drinks are on point. Came from Colorado and would recommend to anyone visiting this area. Zoie took care of our needs very well

What a fun date night! We played, drank and noshed the night away. John Michael was absolutely fabulous and met all of our wants and needs with a smile. We will definitely be back!

The concept behind Game Theory Restaurant + Bar is pretty good — a place where you can eat, drink, and play board games.

I celebrated a friend’s birthday on a weekend at Game Theory Restaurant + Bar, and although we all enjoyed our time playing games, we didn’t like the service we received. The service could have been better.

Let’s start with the good then the bad:

Game Theory Restaurant + Bar has a good variety of board games, from party games like Exploding Kittens & Jenga to hardcore board games like Twilight Imperium. It has a game for every type of person, whether you enjoy a quick or long game.

The location is in a great place where you can easily get to and from it to other places in Fort Worth. It’s in a good location, unless you go during rush hour.

There’s a variety of food on the menu. Even though there isn’t a specific item that stood out, they all tasted decent.

Now, the one thing that needs to be worked on is customer service.

A couple of us ordered alcoholic drinks with our food — the food came, but one of our drinks didn’t. We reminded our server about the missing drink and was told it was coming out very soon. An hour goes by, and the drink never showed. We spoke to our server again, received an apology, and was told it was coming out, again. We waited for another hour, but the drink never showed up. What we had to do was to go to the counter/bar and request for the drinks ourselves. Having to wait a couple of hours for one drink is a bit ridiculous, especially when our server was reminded a couple of times about the situation.

Coming back would be a bit tough because of the service we have had, but because the place is quite unique, I wouldn’t mind returning with friends, especially during a weekday.

Fantastic and fast service on a Saturday night. The food was delicious and the waiters were very patient with my partner and I’s five hour long game session I wish I lived closer to visit here more often!

As soon as my boyfriend and I entered we saw a couple we just met at a show that I had just performed in and upon seeing us, immediately agreed to buy us drinks. I ordered the Panther City cocktail and it was one of the best drinks I’ve ever had. I love activated charcoal infused things, and if you’re not a fan, don’t let that deter you from trying it because the drink is so tasty. The venue was so nice for talking with people and accommodating for having fun with any sized groups. The bartender and all the staff were kind and funny, really taking the time to show us through the Game Library and helping us pick up some game cards when I dropped them allllll over the floor. I recommend this place for a date night or friends night. The Game Library is extensive but organized. A game i’d recommend to play is TACO CAT GOAT SHEESE PIZZA. You will not regret it. If you and your friends or partner are competitive, it’s the one for you.

So awesome. The friendliest staff ever that teaches you how to play games. TONS of games. Great cocktails. The popcorn chicken was disappointing and the quesadillas were meh, but the fries were amazing. But we didn’t even care because the people and vibe was so great.

Really cute place. The food was good but they were out of a lot of things and they charged me an up fee to get a different side but they were out of the side that came with the mask. But I would go back

Just moved to this side of the metroplex and found this place last week. We've already come back and brought friends! This place is great! Fantastic food, excellent game selection, great service, and cool specialty drinks! Thank you Hunter for taking care of us!

Amazing drinks, unique and delicious paired with freshly made food and a giant wall of board games! WHAT? ! Win win! Friends introduced us to Game Theory and I was skeptical. I figured echhh bar food. I was wrong.nothing typical or boring about this food! John the manager was great and so accommodating. Our waitress Hunter and the girls took great care of us. The Game Master Jonathan taught us how to play the crazy games we chose. I highly recommend Game Theory for a great time!
