This place is one of my family favorites. We always go there for dim sum and dinner. This time we had order the famous XO sauce big crab fried rice. And lobster with noodles. Is very delicious.

Not coming back! I’m writing this review as we are eating. Ordered some dim and they were meh. BBQ pork bun was 20% meat and 80% bread. Ordered Cantonese noodles and it was worse the noodles I have ever had. Meat was old like it was cooked the night before and just throwned in.

Long wait to be seated. But delicious food once we finally got seated. Even the toddlers loved it! Staff is friendly tho, willing to work with whatever you need.

First time having dim sum. It was such a great experience. The food was delicious and the price was decent. We did have to wait a bit at times, but that's because they get really busy.

The salted fried rice with shrimp is the worse. It is so dry, tasteless and expensive ($13 +) than compare to other restaurants in the area.

The sweet sour soup was off, too bitter.
The shrimp stem was left on with husk.
The steam dumplings came with no sauce. We ended up eating the white rice with sriracha. Would not recommend.

In future, include the price of steamed rice in the price of the food item. It is EXTREMELY upsetting to be informed that one has to pay extra for rice. I was charged for two containers of rice as I ordered two menu items. Does this business expect customers to cook their own rice?

It is understandable that things are getting expensive, charging extra for rice sends a wrong message. It indicates GREED! Not very savvy business people - bordering stupidity. Sorry. You list me as a customer.

They are quick to respond to your request. You have the choice to order from menu. But they need to improve the cleaness of the tables, and increase the variaty of food items in the carts.

One of the few authentic Cantonese Chinese restaurants on the Dallas side of the Metroplex. Garden is a family favorite where we go to regular dinners, celebrate birthdays, and generally any other special occasions due to the fact that the owners and staff are very nice and there are large tables for big parties. My personal favorites are the Crispy Shrimp Fried Rice (a special combo that the chef owner created) and the Dim Sum.

I already knew this place changed ownership but never thought that when we order foods that cost $165xx not come with "Steam Rice" like it used to be. Have to pay $5 or $10 for steam rices. That's ridiculous. After we eat I decide to order family dinner for 4 Togo @ $73 then the manager automatic charge 18% tips on totals bill of 3 adults and 4kids. She then add all up $165+$73=$239 + 18% Tip.
I ask her to check out my Togo food $73 separately she then had attitudes and rude toward me. No more coming back here. She cheat. Peoples beware

Ps. Love all employees there. They have to work so hard if the manager or new owner keep doing like this then staffs got no tips from customers.weekend but barely customers there.

25% tip automatically added to your bill. Very typical Chinese restaurant with tons of sugar added to every sauce. Server won’t be found anywhere until you get the bill

Covid did it - amazed how beautiful this newly remodeled restaurant is. Foods are excellent - always good. One suggestion - smile!

First and last time here. We were excited to try this place out, too. Food was just okay (not the best dim sum around) and they made the mistake of kicking us out rudely after we have been there for only ONE hour, and wanted to charge us to stay and finish our food. He started cleaning up abruptly and repeatedly yelling at us to leave saying two hour only. We have been there for only ONE hour. 1 (ONE)! Hour Only. I understand it’s Mother’s Day and they are busy, but to rudely and mistakenly kick us out early without an apology? He shoved my nieces iPad in my face to take and go away. He kept hollering at us and I kept telling him he’s mistaken and it was getting ridiculous. The guy ended up “maybe” realizing he made the mistake and frustratingly said okay then walked off, with NO apology, NO acknowledgement that he had done anything wrong. Very disappointed and ruined the experience for us. This guy right here If you cannot handle the holiday rush or anytime the restaurant is busy, then he should find another job. Management needs to RE-evaluate his employment. Check your cameras to see that we sat down at about 10: 34am. I know because I sent my sister the location as we walked to the table at that time. It took maybe 10-15 minutes for carts to come to our table and they never came by to refill our drinks. We didn’t complain and just enjoying the day. Then about an hour later, this happened. This guy out of nowhere came and ruined our experience. We were finishing up and getting ready to leave anyway, much under 2 hours that he was going crazy over. So so disappointing.

Waited for 30 mins to get a waitress to order food. Then waited 45 min for nothing. People arrived after us ordered, ate and left but we were still sitting there waiting for our food to arrive. First dish arrived 1 hour 25 min after we were seated. At 1 hour mark, we were told they put us on the top of queue at the kitchen but we saw dishes after dishes coming out of the kitchen but went to other tables.

In a word. WOW, amazing flavors and great portions. I had the opportunity to eat the Mongolian Beef for lunch today and what a delight it was to experience such robust seasoning and tender beef. The restaurant is clean and the service is very good. I was amazed by the amount of food you receive for the lunch special, literally a full entre and full pot of rice. Another perk is that they offer several hot tea options; I had the Jasmine tea. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Garden Restaurant.

My daughter took us here for my birthday brunch, it was wonderful. It was our first time, and we will be visiting again. Thanks Lynn

The worst customer service I have ever had at a restaurant! If I could put below zero stars I would. Kirin Court is much better.

Excellent Dim Sum. Much better than Kirin Court Dim Sum in Texas and Grand House Dim Sum in Oklahoma. Garden Restaurant is Just Excellent all around. Absolutely 5 stars/5 Stars.

My top scene for tasty chinese food. The food was amazing. I've had nothing but enjoyable experiences here and plan to keep visiting. The place has an awesome atmosphere. Feels similar to a restaurant in New York I loved.
