A 52 in a 50 speeding ticket, had to pay full price and its still on my record. Had a cdl for 8 years with nothing on it till i came through Garland and got a ticket for going 2 mph over

This is the WORST place to have to deal with. Everyone has an attitude and looks/treats you like a felon when you have a simple seat belt ticket. Courts are dirtier than a truck stop toilet but its way nicer than the "workers" who don't want to work.

I paid my ticket well in advance and still received a late fee of $53 due to a "glitch" in their system. Now I cannot talk to anyone over the phone because of their lackluster phone system so I am being forced to go in person to dispute the charge. I have evidence to back up my payment and should not be forced to pay extra for their mistake.

Hispanic lady at the first register.my God! Is It required to be rude to get hired at the city of garland? Most of people come here to pay their tickets. As bad as it is, they add rude people for costumer service to make your experience with them even worse! ”. Funny part: we pay their paychecks to make people’s life miserable

I do have to say this place isn’t bad the officer in the front friendly the workers seem to not carrry attitude on their shoulders, however I do not like the fact they count Saturday and Sunday as a business day, considering they are not open to make a payment.which I assumed if they are not open on those days how are they going to count it as a business day?

A place where all the idiots work. Took a defensive driving class and the certificate was not accepted because it didn’t show a court name (only ticket number), what’s the big freaking deal? The IT system is obsolete, not connected to Texas Driving Record not Insurance Verification System. Come on Garland, we are in 21th century. Who run this place?

Given 3 court dates for a ticket, conflicting documentation, little to no help on the phone. Illegitimate ticket in the first place. If you get a ticket in garland be prepared to take a half day off work and pay full ticket price unless you are rich and can afford to pay a lawyer for more money than the ticket costs

RArely had any speeding tickets until I began working in Garland. Speed traps galore. Disrespectful police.

Hours are 8-5 and I got here at 8: 10 and it's now 9: 00 and it's still open, I called the day before to make sure they would be open yet they are not. A waste of time.

Do not waste time if they tell you to do the online drivers safety course to reduce the fee. In my case I thought I had missed the time, I sent the TOTAL AMOUNT in. They returned that payment, forced me to do the online stuff, it sucked and was $45. Then I had to pay for expedited shipment of the certificate (can't just print it online), I also had to pay to expedite the printing of my Texas Driving Record. Then to top it all off, I missed one spot I was supposed to sign on the certificate, thus they sent it back in the mail. Now I have a court date I must get all this paperwork resolved by or I will end up paying that same total I had already submitted, but they rejected (on top of the $80+ I have spent on training, mailing, FEDEX, etc) SMH

Sitting outside of the municipal court of Garland office. There is 7 people including myself, is 8: 10 am and the doors are still locked. Why would even bother to come early if they arent here to serve the community on time. Doesn't deserve a star, just a bad review. Not even a sign of holiday hours, if thats was the reason for not opening on time. Must of the people already left.

Hey now is 20min past 8 am. (Business hours 8am-5pm)

What a waste of time.

They are treating me unfairly gave me an unfair ticket the cop was harsh and they wouldn’t let me take drivers education to dismiss the ticket the justice system here is unjust

For all the people who drive on Lavon we all notice we travel one speed all in packs. Apparently I got a speeding ticket on castle rd. But he stopped me in Downtown Garland? Strange. And while handing me the ticket he changed the speed limit posted to 40 and to a different street way up ahead. Isn't that illegal to do. He told me a different thing from what he wrote down. And he said I had to talk to the courts about it. And the court say they can't do anything about it

Trying to pay my ticket, but they never pick up the phone, hang up on me, or leave me waiting for an hour.don't even know how much the ticket is because if I did l, I would have paid it online or through the phone with Texas gov already. Tried callin for the past few weeks, but the workers never pick up. Also, don't have time to wait in line because I have work everyday.come on garland. Paying a ticket in another city is as simple as that.

Very long lines, make sure you have plenty of time to wait. They do have a night drop, so if you can drop something off, you can avoid the line. Lots of parking.

They don't even deserve a star. Literally the worst place to get a ticket. I have to go back to court for the 3rd time because the judge didn't put on my paper work to accept defensive driving. The people in the lobby are clueless. Why would they give me defensive driving paper work just to not accept it. Make sure the judge puts the correct info when you go to court or you'll be back 3 times.

Talked over the phone with Rod about a speeding ticket. He was super helpful. I don't think I've talked with anyone in a court that was as polite or explained the processes available so clearly.

Never had to pay a 200 dollar ticket for something im completely not guilty for. These people are just money hungry
