Garrett's Rustic Furniture/sawmill, Hempstead TX

I visited this place for the first time this last week and everyone that worked there was not only friendly but eager to help me. To make things better after walking around I noticed the prices were very reasonable and cheaper than the other places I normally go to. Selection was great and a lot of quality pieces to choose from. For these reasons from here forward I won't use anybody else. 5 stars for Garrett's Sawmill!

They repaired an antique rocker and matched the original wood/stain perfectly. They do awesome work!

Rhonda is fantastic! I wanted to work on a craft project but as you all may know wood can be very expensive, they worked within my budget and provided me with a beautiful piece of pecan wood with a live edge. If you need wood this is your place and the staff was working on a bar top for someone and their work is beautiful. I will definitely be going back! They sale handcafted, American made furniture! Its absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommended! Well made furniture that will last a lifetime!

I had a great experience with Garrett’s. Took a pecan log I cut off my buddies land and had them cut, plane, and kiln dry it into planks. Everything went perfect and for a great price. Also found out they sell various kinds of wood planks and slabs as well. Way more affordable than in town. I highly recommend this place and will do business with again!

I have several pieces of furniture from here. Every piece has so much character and will last. I can not wait to start my next project.
