I used Gassane to alter my wedding dress and a few other random pieces. They are great! Highly recommend. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly.

And I’m not sure if this is worth mentioning but it really made an impact on me so, I will.it wasn’t my piece, I was picking something up of my own and saw a woman trying on some pants in the mirror. I didn’t realize they had been altered by Gassane and I complimented them, because they had such an amazing fit and she said Gassane had altered them from some baggy men’s fit to what she was wearing. I was floored. They were so good! I was already sold on them but this was inspirational.

Anyway, go to them for peace of mind! And awesome service.

Incredibly nice people. I can’t say that enough, they are the nicest guys you will meet. However the worksmanship was also among the most amateur. Maybe they had an apprentice do it? I see so many good reviews, have read they have a great client list, etc. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt but it wasn’t just one loose thread, it was the entire job (raise cuffs on a jacket). Didn’t knot off thread, lots of loose thread hanging. They sewed the button grommet into the cuff, etc.maybe they are more known for full suits and not for alterations? I noticed it when I went to pickup, and the pictures are after they “fixed” it. Again, super nice people so don’t want to give 1 star.

This is the sweetest family and the epitome of the American dream. I've had so many tailors since I wear a lot of suits for work. Gus and his family are absolute gems. They are such good human beings and on top of it the amount of love they pour into their work is just phenomenal. This is better than saville row. This is the type of business that ends up being family. I can never see myself going anywhere else. I trust no one but Gus. I don't think there is anything this family can't do! Simply put, they are the best.

I’m not sure if I’ve ever left a review for a local business, but Gassane deserves one. I got a few suits and shirts tailored by Gus and this guy is awesome at what he does. I’ve been to tailors in the past who just started pinning my clothes without asking me how I want it to look, but Gus is super helpful with asking how you want things to look and then making sure you get that look. You can tell he truly loves what he’s doing.

Joseph is the most amazing tailor I've ever met. He's incredibly friendly and is very excited to see me every time I walk in the door! He has definitely saved me from tailoring emergencies more times than I can count.

You may be able to get tailoring done cheaper elsewhere but the quality, speed, and service are well worth the few extra dollars you may spend. I've never had a problem with anything he's ever tailored and I can't say the same about other tailors I've gone to in the past.

Friendly and welcoming, nonjudgemental and helpful! Love supporting a family business, and they did an amazing job on our suits (fitting for two people at 5'1"). Did not try to push unneeded services, was very accomodating to our timeline, definitely a great experience!

As a woman who loves a suit, I’m very worried tailors aren’t going to fit something to my body type. I’m glad that I don’t have to worry anymore! Gassane tailored my suit perfectly. I still have my figure! I love the way this suit fits around my legs and how he brought in the waist. The first image is the after and the second one is the before.

I’m delighted to know that people of this skill level are still practicing their craft. This is where you take that important suit or dress that has to fit perfectly or have one made.

Best tailor in all of Austin. Literally people from other tailor shops or SuitSupply refer to him for complex repairs or sizing.

We had to urgently alter a pair of trousers and a dress. They did it on time and the trousers were done well! The dress was made way too tight that my wife couldn’t breathe in it. And we were charged 200 Usd for both. Don’t mind paying the price but not for a bad service.

I took 4 of my dresses to them and they did a fantastic job with the individual needs for each. Very happy with the service and they are so kind, small mom and pop shop.

When you want the best, you go to Gussane. The man is a master, funny and turn around times are fantastic. You won't regret giving him your business.

Very good customer service! Brought a bridesmaids dress that was weirdly designed and didn’t fit properly. The first time I picked it up it needed more work but they did not give me a hard time and did the alterations quickly at no additional charge. When I picked it up it needed a few minor changes they completed while I waited again without giving me having to argue with them. The dress looks great!

The best tailors in Austin! NO CONTEST! Not only are they kind and genuinely wonderful people to work with, their service is excellent and their product is superior. They were recommended to me by a friend, and I am grateful for that recommendation, because they are excellent. I have never had a bad experience, and have always left fully satisfied and happy. It's a taste of an old-world tailor store and shows that sometimes the old-school is the best. They know their craft, and are excellent at it. THEY ARE REAL TAILORS! It's also clear that they love what they do, and that makes a difference as well. Thank you for your commitment to excellence!

Don't waste your time at any other Tailor. Joseph and his wife were extremely welcoming, and did a phenomenal job.
