Genghis Grill, Harker Heights TX

Just visited this restraunt, I use to love eating at this particular restaurant it was always clean and the staff was excellent. Fast foward to today me and my wife come to eat we were one of the only two tables there. We sat there waiting on a server until what I think was a manager came and took our order. We never was officially greater by out server as all 6 employees seemed to be sitting together at a table and could care less of the guest. The cook was acting more of a server than the actuall servers. On multiple occasions my wife had to go and search for a server to refill our drinks. The restaurant was a complete mess the food buffet was completely empty and dirty even though only two tables were being used in the restraint multiple tables sat dirty with dishes. The benches were completely ripped and patched with duct tape. As well as the entire floor was sticky.

Food was amazing! Our waitress Nicole was so sweet and kind and made sure everything was amazing! She needs a raise!

I love going to this Genghis Grill. Been going here for years! Service is always great food is even better! Super clean as well!

Food was cooked great. I love making my own bowl. But it’s sooo hot. The AC must be out. I have no clue how the employees are working in here, especially the grill cook.

HVAC isn't keeping up, this wasn't a problem for me as my order was to go. The main reason I dropped this to one star was that the price has more than doubled since the last time I visited (before covid). I know prices are up, but 27 dollars for one person to go order is crazy. Also the portion size is significantly smaller than I remember. I know none of this is up to the staff at the local level, so I hope they don't pin it on them.

Frances are awesome server, she patience with us for communicating in deaf way. Awesome foods!

My kids love coming here. Today we got greeted as we step through the doors. The staff that assisted us was not our server, but became our server to avoid us having to wait. Frances was quick and efficient. The food was great like always!

They offered 20% off if we left a review. Once review was there, they wouldn’t give discount. So not only are they buying reviews, they are scamming current customers.

Husband and I went for a date night on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was half empty, but we decided to take our chance. The hostess showed us a booth to sit and the sit was torn and they have tried to stitch it with a piece of black tape so I said can we sit somewhere else and she suggested another sit and this one was torn too but this time no tape and I could see inside the cushion too! So we sat at the third spot. We sat there but the table was sticky. Our server had just started so she was as confused as us about ordering process.
My unsweetened tea was sweet so my husband went and changed himself.
We filled our bowls and left it to be cooked and brought to us. Although our bowls were right after each other on the line My food took about 15 min longer to be ready than my husband's food. My husband had to go and ask about my food two times.
My food was not cooked very well (bowl of vegetarian food with noodles an tofu) so as soon as we left the restaurant I started having stomach pains.
Floors were so sticky that even after we left, it felt like we had gum under our shoes.

Haven't been to a Genghis Grill in a couple years because I moved from where there was one close by. I drove 1 hour today to the nearest one. Sadly I was disappointed in how different today's experience was. Every bench seat within my vision, 5, are all worn and torn. My preferred soda drink they were out of. The protein section of the food line was out of beef, shrimp, crab and a couple others. Maybe the abundance of flies ate the food meats, they were flying all around the food. I saw my food get done and it sat there for 5 minutes before they brought it to me. I didn't know If I was supposed to go get it or wait on them to bring it to me. It's not the same procedure as what I was used to and I wasn't sure if they changed the process or not, it wasn't explained to me at all. This was an experience that changed my desire to want to come back.

Great food! Tanesa was great! Very attentive and even asked if I had food allergies. Never been asked that. Ask for her if you go.

When I went to pick up a curbside, I waited 30 minutes before I had to walk inside which by then the food was cold. I still waited another 5 minutes before someone addressed me. When I opened my food in the car, I had a spoonful of rice & mostly meat. The server’s and management are terrible. They take no responsibility for their duties & ignore customers until your practically shouting to get someone’s attention. 0/10 will not be back

I came today with my 8-year-old brother and he got out of the meat line and the lady didn't let me add more meat, only hagarro pepperoni because he went to ask me for help and when I wanted to put more meat on it, the lady didn't let me have terrible service. 16 bucks for a bowl of pepperoni and spaghetti I will never go back!
