Berk and his expert team of specialists took great care of our Porsche Macan S and provided excellent customer service. I have been going to German Car Specialists for all our Porsche service needs for 4 years, and they consistently do great work. Recently the vehicle needed more extensive work due to an oil leak, and they diagnosed and repaired it in a timely manner. He also graciously worked with our extended warranty company for payment. Berk always provides expert, detailed descriptions of the work and is available to advise on all vehicle issues. We will continue to rely on German Car Specialists!

I have a 2013 BMW Z4 28i with the turbocharged 4 cylinder N20 engine at 79,000 miles. It was making a whining noise and a check engine light on, I knew it was going to need significant repairs.

I looked around and found German Car Specialists and decided to give them a try instead of the dealer. I love my Z4 and plan on keeping it a long time and wanted any repairs to be done right and at a reasonable cost. From the very first call I could tell they were BMW experts and customer focused, willing to answer and discuss all of my questions. It turned out I needed a new intake manifold, not such a simple job on the N20, and then they discovered my timing chain was very loose and it needed to be replaced as well, a common issue on the N20, and also not a simple job.

Berk and Mark kept me informed as they did the work, sending progress pictures and showing me the engine codes and explained what they were doing and why all along the way. They did a great job, my Z4 is running better than it ever has! And considering the complexity of the job and parts they did it a reasonable cost. I highly recommend!

Have taken my Audi A4 for servicing twice here and their customer service is phenomenal~! Would for sure recommend

German Car Specialists is in my opinion the premier shop for services and mechanical repairs of German cars. From personal experience with my 2005 Audi I can say that going to Berk’s shop is far better in terms of quality and value than any of the local Audi dealers. With an old car like mine, it's bad enough to find parts but it's hard to find a shop with the skills to make repairs. Berk and his team really know German cars. I recommend German Car Specialists without hesitation.

I cannot say enough great things about German Car Specialist. They installed Dinan axle-back exhaust and a splitter on my bmw. They were very accommodating to my tight schedule. The great communication and professionalism earned by business. I trust them with my vehicle which I cannot say about many other places.

I have driven many German luxury cars and finding a trusted repair specialist at a fair price is THE KEY! When I moved to San Antonio, I tried several places before finding GCS. Both of my BMW's will only be coming here for care!

I was looking for a good mechanic for my Porsche to do the routine maintenance for and was lucky enough to find German Car Specialists. As soon as I walked in and talked to the owner, I knew I was talking to someone that was honest and passionate about cars and the work that his shop performs. Their prices are fair and reasonable (esp compared to the outrageous price the dealership charges) and the work is excellent.

I have used Berk and his team for a number of years now, on various services he provides, first on my MKV GTI and now on my MK7, he is fair and honest guy which I appreciate and for sure tells you how it is.its a shame he doesn't work on Mercedes or I would also take my wife's car there.

Often times I work on my own car as I have been burned in the past by dishonest mechanics. However, I’m willing to admit when to leave a job for a professional and made the choice to bring it to Berk.

I had a leaky water pump assembly and he was able to give me a prompt estimate and appointment scheduled. Upon meeting him, he was very personable and had a clear attention to detail. He took the time to send a picture of where it was leaking on the thermostat assembly (see picture), which is much appreciated when the curtain is lifted a little behind a shop’s work and the progress on your car.

All in all, the service was great, the work was great, and the price was right. I will for sure recommend this shop to all of my other euro friends.

I've taken my Audis here for over 10 years and they know their stuff. Whether troubleshooting an oil leak or misfires, these guys know Audis and they will figure it out and fix it for a fair price. I highly recommend them.

This small service repair shop has the best service and unbeatable prices! I found German Car Specialists unexpectedly while searching for a repair shop to fix some issues on my 2010 Audi A4. I was pleasantly surprised when Berk gave me a price to repair all 8 control arms and an oil change that was hundreds less then another well known premier repair shop in San Antonio. I dropped my car off at 8am and was called a little after 1pm telling me my car was ready. I was so pleased with this, I took my car back to have the water pump replaced and A/C fixed. Again, they were more than fair on the price and the service was outstanding! I will never take my Audi anywhere else!

They were able to fit me in last minute before Thanksgiving. Price for oil and transmission service was reasonable. Only took a couple hours (pretty quick considering I didn't even have an appointment.)

Great service and polite staff. Had a new clutch and flywheel installed in my GTI in 5 hours. They noticed my car was low on oil and added oil as well. Easy to set up an appointment. Would highly recommend you take your German cars here, these guys know their stuff. I know I'll be taking my car here from now on.
