Gibson Park, Weslaco TX

This little park is a gem in our small town. The city has great things to Gibson park by updating the play area, basketball courts, picnic area and walking path.

Great place for kids of all ages. Has a musical section.which is fun.a splash pad that is very refreshing on these hot days.and it's fun.picnic tables under trees for that cool shade. Would definitely visit it more.

Not even sure if it is still open, but this place was great. You could rent the pool for a party. Very secluded behind Valley Nature Center on the East side of Gibson Park. 08/22. Pool is gone. They filled it in with dirt. Park is a great park, but every kid should have a pool to swim.
11/05/22 they have started construction on a new splash pad. It is great for toddlers or young children, but the city already has at least 2. Still need public outdoor pools for the cities youth to have fun, exercise, and learn swimming.

Very attractive & fun place to hang out & even more with the water park that has recently been added it's just amazingly a blast oh & the new play sets that have been added also it just awesome

Kids need to supervise all the time. It's a great place for kids to go have fun. However, when I went with my family there were 6 kids 15-16 yrs old playing volleyball and one of them made a sign like if he was gonna throw it to my 4 yrs old son's back. I got so upset. These kids think everything is so funny.

Fun little park to hangout and eat. I always go with my girlfriend there after we order some Chinese food. Nice little park.

So much to do and they just added a music area thats so much fun. They have ping ball table but must take your own paddles and ball. Toss across and four square must also take your own bean bags for toss and playing balls.

It's a great park, just sad that people can't keep clean due to laziness and the lack of being an actual decent human to clean after oneself.

My wife and I visited some family nearby and we decided to go there and take our dog with us and eat and then walk around. It's a nice, clean quiet park to go and have a picnic, t take your pet with you. They have a playground for the children as well. There are bathrooms on the property. The City does a good job in maintaining the park. I would recommend that if you're in the area to go there for a little while and just smell the roses so to say.

This is the best playground for kids in the mid valley area. 3 story tower with slides and activities. Corn hole, basketball, pavilion. Many benches for parents to sit in while watching the kids play.

Has swings and variety of little play areas has tables and bbq pits nice place to have a nice afternoon with the family

Best park I've been to. A ton of fun, even for adults. I haven't had that much fun in a long time at a park.

I like it because it is big and has a lot of space for the children to play and also because it is clean. Only the bathrooms are a little neglected. But everything is fine

I really love this park. It's smaller than some of the other ones around the city, but they have a decent amount of parking, a walking path, and a good playground. Of course it's also known for the lil nature center that you can go to in the back of it.

It’s a really a good place for kids but the bathrooms are not so great but the basketball court and the playground is really fun.
