Ginger Thai Katy reviews
15Great food. Menu is a little limited compared to some other Thai spots I have been to, but great quality.
Food was delicious and fresh just didn't wow. Service was great just their dinning area is dark.me I would let more light in
Food was delicious! My first time trying Thai food and i promise i will be back? Food came out fresh and hot, everything was well cooked and seasoned, i loved everything here.
Good place for a quick bite. I had the lunch special that was red curry that day. The food was simple and tasty.
Such a good place for some comfort food. They also don’t close too early, especially for katy, which always provides for a great, late dinner. I personally would recommend their curries, although I’ve heard great things about other dishes as well.
For the most part, I always take out, but had a good dining experience when I ate at the restaurant.
I love this place. Pad Woon Sen with either shrimp or chicken (yum, yum). You have to try it and make up your mind on which one you like.
Sad! On phone you can not put an order 45 minutes ahead, they will only take order 15 min in advance. But on Uber Eats you can even place an order a day before. Baffled!
Great food by the way.
I got the cashew nut chicken and a soup. The cashew nut was very fishy; so much that I could only eat a small amount of it. I am very disappointed and will not return.
My absolute favorite Thai restaurant! The cheese rolls and panang curry are amazing and my absolute favorite! I love this place, I love the portions, and I love the service. I definitely recommend and am a repeat customer. I have invited friends and family to try it out and they have all loved it as well.
First time here!
For starters, I have found it rare to find and Asian restaurant that marks the menu with “Gluten Free”, let alone gluten free options. I can’t review the gluten free options as we did not choose them.
We ordered Pad Thai and Red Curry.
The curry was fantastic. The pad Thai was good, but a little sweeter than I normally like it. If you like spice but on a limited basis, I would recommend the mild option. We went with “spicy” and it was a great level of spice.
I live near this restaurant and have been going here for years now the food has been very mediocre and charging almost $20 per plate, which is ridiculous. I literally called two nights ago and was going to place an order for a cashew plate and they told me my total was $20, and I’m like no way ESP for the mediocre taste at that. I will definitely not be coming here anymore — please do better. If you’re going to charge people almost $20 a plate then ensure that the quality is present and the quantity matches as well. This is unbelievable. I have to find other Thai restaurants that are further from my location because it seems as though once you’re established and around neighborhoods it’s like the quality of food does not matter anymore. It’s like restaurants do not try because they know they are going to get customers because of how close people are from their homes to restaurants, WHICH SUCKS. But I will not be giving money to restaurants that are serving mediocre plates and charging an arm and leg. So please AGAIN, do better.
Ordered food to go and ask one of the sever with big earring holes for some extra chill sauces. He threw it rudely on he counter top. This is not the first time, he has some attittude issue in past when we for dine in. We ignored his actions from the past. This kid definitly needs to be trained.
The atmosphere is relaxing and chill. Server was efficient and polite. Lunch menu has some great prices. The pad thai was very disappointing. It was very bitter and the taste of the noodle was ick.
Excellent pineapple fried rice and solid pad Thai. The curries are not to our liking but I would recommend trying to see if they fit your palette. Service is excellent even when during packed dinner hours.
Spent a little time in Thailand and everything we had was very good compared to the real deal. Pad thai, red curry and tom yum soup were very tasty. Cheese rolls were kind of like crab wonton only rolled up. Didn't get any pictures because we dove in right away. We're excited to find some good Thai food so close!
