Glen Rose Inn & Suites reviews
16Very simple basic but charmingly clean beds and room was fresh and ready. People running the place were very friendly
I live in the new apartments. Newly remodeled and renovated. The staff is very nice and helpful. Will go out of their way to accommodate.
The front desk girl is very kind and friendly & the location was great, however the rooms are very filthy and unkept. Then I had been told that I would have two queen beds but they were two full size beds, it was booked everywhere else, im glad we only stayed one night. Then the rooms all say no smoking, when two men (maintenance/ cleaning personnel) are going in and out of rooms while smoking. Take your own towels, the ones they give you there are filthy. Nothing is stocked or broken, TV had huge pixelated blacked out spots, remote didn't work, drawers had stuff that wasn't ours. I would not stay unless you absolutely had no choice as myself.
Wanted more $$ then the place can claim. Stayed 7 nights and never did housekeeping clean my room nor change out linens and towels. And the trash cans were overflowing for 3 days. It was quiet, which is the best that I can state.
Amazed! - can not believe it’s the same place we visited 7 years ago.
From check inn to departure - Absolutely 5 star service.
Staff so friendly and help-full- room fully remodeled with all new furniture, recently painted- and beautifully decorated. We absolutely loved it- stayed for two nights- would have stayed longer.
Great place and great service. There was a mixup on my res and theyade it right. Great people, great place to stay!
Room was filthy. Carpet was cut up as well as holes in all the walls. Wasn't worth the money paid. We were traveling got there after 11pm just had to make the best of it until 8 am. I suggest finding something else even if its 30mins - a hour out of the way.
If I could give zero stars I would. I really hope people see this and stay away from this hotel. Do not stay here.on my last years stay we got a room that was dirty, pool was out of order, fridge and microwave in the room didn’t work and the tv didn’t work either…this years visit was bad also. Thought I would give them another chance… but I will not be coming back; glad we checked out and got another hotel.
Cheapest in the area. Traveling for work. One night stay. The staff was so helpful and nice but the rooms are kind of.gross. The first room I was put in did not have a TV so I asked for a different room. I should've done without the TV and stayed in the first room. The second room I was given smells like super musty pee. The AC works great.at circulating the musty pee smell around. Got a room with two beds. One bed was like.wet. And sticky. I will never stay here again. If you're down on your luck it's a roof and a bed. If you have a choice.this isn't the best one.
Older yes, but in the process of remodeling. Price was of the lowest in the area. Close to everything. Great restaurant next door! Pool was super clean. Front desk were very nice and helpful folks!
DO NOT BOOK HERE! Disgustingly filthy rooms, switched me to a different room due to the TV not working, new room smells God awful and TV still didn't work. I can't believe these people think this is even suitable to rent out to people. Staff is friendly though.
Honestly for the money it was a good stay. The room I stayed in was obviously very old, but pretty clean for how old it was. And I didnt have a run in with bed crawlers like lots of cheap motels.
Unfortunately room condition poor and worn out no door knob on bathroom, large crack in tub, no toilet paper, one cup, tub dripped and could shut off, toilet would not flush tank would not fill with water. (maintenance did address several hours after check in.) No Kleenex. On line booking indicated prices at $50. However in person booking $79. When trying to book on line no rooms available however vacancy was more than 50%. This may have been a one room exception so recommending visiting room before accepting.
If I could give it a -10 I would!
We stay in one of the duplex and have for about a year maybe a little over.
There is black mold (and yes I had it confirmed) in the entire ac ductwork and the toilets always backed up I have plenty of pictures to prove that to. Begged them for about six months to have someone look at it and they just brushed it off like it was nothing told me oh it’s just dirt and dust! The moment I took it to the city to complain because they weren’t doing anything about it. I was home maybe 30 to 45 minutes and they decided that they were going to go ahead and kick us out me and my four kids with nowhere to go gave us 1 day! I close the door in their face and not even five minutes later they called the cops hoping that the cops would remove us, and the police officers (cause 3 showed up) told them there is nothing that they can do about it they have to go through an eviction process Since we have stayed here for almost a year.
The Glen Rose Inn and Suites is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The key cards failed on the first two rooms and the hotel check-in person tried to claim it was because I asked for 3 keys. He even seem perturbed that I wanted more than 1 room key. The third room was dirty - I actually wiped dirt off the beds! One bed was missing pillows. There was no lightbulb over the sink. The toilet was broken - to flush it we had to reach in the tank and lift the flapper and then reset the flapper so it would stop flushing. The rooms are extremely loud because the air conditioner wasn't sealed correctly and there were gaps between it and the wall. The television had only one working channel and each time we turned the tv on we had to reset the input to HDMI to get that one channel to even work! There were only two towels even though we were staying for 2 nights (4 of us) so we went and purchased our own when we bought a spare lightbulb!
We booked for two nights through Expedia and when we returned to our room after being gone for a bit the room keys wouldn't work. The innkeeper tried to say we only booked for one night. When I showed him the email from Expedia and the itinerary on the app he still insisted we only had one night. After I explained to him that he need to have a room for us and that our belongings had better still be in the room he finally gave in and rest the room key - ONE of them! I wouldn't wish this hotel on my worst enemy!
