GLō Best Western Desoto Dallas

Great staff incredibly helpful and kind, spacious rooms wonderful bathroom with good water pressure but good god guys what are you doing with those sheets. My sheets consisted of a paper thin sheet cover, then a nearly just as thin fleece blanket, followed by an equally thin final sheet the material of which i could only describe as what they make parachute pants out of and to top it off the bed sheet cover was either stained with dead bugs or the bugs were dead underneath it leaving a weird shadow.everything else was a 8/10 the beds are 0/10

Amazing location I just didn't care for my loud guest next door to us. The staff didn't offer much help.

A great place in Desoto. Not so bad for a late booking from priceline. The hotel does offer breakfast a full breakfast waffles, eggs, sausage and biscuits with gravy. Enjoyed the stay was very comfy. The room looked great but the halls smelled kinda odd. The hotel looks high end. The room we where assigned the door was really hard to get open. Maybe because of the weather it set different but it was stuck you really had to pull on it. Showers and bathrooms are nice. Bed and pillows where comfy I would not mind picking this hotel again. Was close to a Walmart that I really needed to go to in the morning. Also places to eat as well so really do recommend.
10-25-2023 Great place, the front desk great work people are really nice. Had a late check in and they helped me with that. Rooms always clean and breakfast is a hot breakfast.

We had a great 2 night stay. Slept exceptionally well. We were able to choose our preferred floor at the front desk and we're pleased with the 4th floor. Great windows and whomever is the stylist of this place, great job! Such an appealing place.

Sadly, this has been a terrible experience. I was overcharged on my room, and the hotel refuses to reimburse me. Best Western corporate has been zero help so far. I would not give my credit card information to this hotel, or risk a stay. Keep driving.

The rooms should definitively be reviewed by maintenance b/c the drawers were broken and there was loose caulking around the bath tub. The important thing that I notice was the white alarm clock was nasty and dirty. They should either be replaced or cleaned well. The floors in the room also still had crumbs and dirt on them like the cleaning department only did the bare minimum.

The location was great and the rooms are extremely comfortable. Stayed there for business and found the staff very helpful. If you're looking for a good business location to stay at, I would recommend the Glo.

This hotel is dirty. The rooms smell and the bathroom and shower has pubic hair everywhere! We had 3 rooms and they were all awful. We tried to find other accommodation and could not. So we were stuck there for 2 nights. Couldn’t wait to get home and shower! I do not recommend this place.

The entire feel of this hotel is why we choose it to spend Valentines Eve together there. We LOVED the lobby area, the halls, the elevator and especially the room. The flow of the room has given us many ideas on how to design our future custom built home. The bathroom and closets with the sliding mirror doors was AMAZING. The sinks and the mirrors were AWESOME. The only think that wasn't great was the bed. It was AWEFULLY UNCOMFORTABLE. One week later we both are dealing with inflamed sciatic nerves and upper back stiffness. To be fair, even the lower end Best Westerns have the same issues with their beds but we were really hoping that we wouldn't experience these same issues at this higher end hotel. This was our 1st time at a GLo hotel so we were hoping this would be not be the case. The customer service was great too, the lady who took care of the breakfast bar was really good and so was Sonya at the front desk. Lastly, one of the outside window panes were broken but it didn't effect us.

We came back to this location over Labor Day Weekend. It was sold out so that shows the popularity of this hotel. We took our kids this time and they enjoyed the room alot. The 2 queen beds in a room is a little tight compared to the one king. Also thr bathroom is not as big and there's only 1 closet. The view from the 3rd floor to the back of the hotel was beautiful because of all the trees. The breakfast was really good and we had lots of options, especially for our picky eaters. The only issue was there either wasn't a vent or the vent wasn't working in the bathroom.

Extremely low water pressure & water barely drained from tub. No microwave, 1 shared in lobby. A/C good in 2 rooms, but not 3rd. Good for a night, not long term.

I was bothered that there were no microwaves in the rooms because there’s nothing in walking distance for food. The rooms are nice though

Overall it was a reasonable place to stay. However, the maintenance and cleanliness Lester a lot to be desired. Sheets had stains in them. Bathroom shower had hair from previous occupants on walls/door. Mini fridge didn’t work at all. Most of the ice machines in hotel didn’t work. I believe on one worked in the entire hotel. Staff in the front was very friendly.

1. For the price, it was sufficient. I was there one-night; anything more, I would not stay here. My preference would be for a higher level of comfort.
2. Room was clean, no complaints.
3. Location was great since you can easily access the highway to get to various locations.
3. I didn't eat, but the a.m. Breakfast looked decent and several people were enjoying themselves.
4. VERY thin hand towels & facecloths.
5. Building must be made of the thinnest materials: you will hear EVERYTHING! Above you, beside you, across from you! I went to bed late, woke up early thanks to my neighbors.
Summary: For a one-night stop, this is a good, economical choice.

It’s right off the highway, so conveniently great, but very busy and noisy. The windows help with keeping the noise down. Parking lot looks very safe and clean. Parking is open but not many parking spaces. If you going somewhere at night, just remember the spaces are limited.
