6It's a nice park getting to the water is a walk you cant pull up to the water had a cast on my foot so we went somewhere else so access easier.
I love coming here with my dogs and walking around. The rangers & folks who work up front are are always friendly. Lots of room to roam & explore. And sometimes we see deer too.

Our visit was in late Feb and while it was warm it was also very windy.
Park host was extremely nice and the overall condition of the park was grade A.
- one star for less than great water access if you don't bring a boat
Totally got harrassed by a park ranger. Avoid this place at all costs
Beautiful grounds, but boat ramp is subject to going dry even at decent lake levels.
