Service was quick, communication of the entire process was excellent. Kept in the loop throughout entire repair.

I really don't know how to describe my experience with the Powell Watson Service Department so I will just write an outline:

1.2020 GMC Sierra started acting up. Electronics appeared possessed. Stereo stopped working but occasionally would start with volume maxxed. Really scary. Back up camera would come on occasionally while driving. Appeared like traffic was racing at me. Scary. Clock, compass and dashboard lights would flash on and off every 60 seconds. I checked all systems and everything appeared fine. Problems increased. Stereo would rarely work but the lights would stay on. Check Engine light would come on for 5-10 minutes every other week. Auto Zone and others found nothing wrong. Drained my battery so I bought a new one ($300). The old battery was good but at that time was unaware that the lights would not go off.

2.9/5/23 - I took to Powelll Watson early so they could run diagnostics. I described my concerns and they were kind enough to schedule an appointment approximately three weeks later.

3.9/25/23 - 8A appointment. Reiterated concerns. Was told diagnostics would cost $160. Diagnostics would take one hour. I got no notifications so I called them about 5P. Said they just completed diagnostics and they would need to continue tomorrow. It appears that my stereo (infotainment center) required programming. $160.4.9/26/23 - no updates so I contacted them. Said the check engine module was bad and would need to be replaced. $600. I explained that everything seems to be tied to the infotainment center. She said that the diagnostics show that it needs replacing. She concluded telling me that the technician said my vehicle would be ready tomorrow afternoon.

5.9/27/23 - no updates. I decided to be patient and wait for them to call me.

6.9/28/23 - no updates.

7.9/29/23 - no updates. 2P - I decided to go to Powell Watson to get an update. Service department said that no work had been done on my vehicle other than the one hour diagnostics that took longer than eight hours. No apology offered but they did explain that the person who initially assisted me left the dealership. She apparently used a separate system than the rest of the service department because they did not know the status of my vehicle (I imagine other vehicles too that she entered into her private system). They located my truck.it was parked in the back with no apparent plan. Of course the battery was dead (stereo lights do not turn off) so they had to jump it.

8. Kind enough to not charge me storage fees. They did charge me for the one hour (8+ hour) diagnostics. Funny side note: I received a text from Powell Watson thanking me for my business. It also invited me to leave a review. I tried. It did not work.

If I could give zero stars I would. I cannot so one star is the best I can do. To add insult to injury, I dropped the truck off with 1/4 tank and had it returned dirty and gas tank empty. I will NOT return to Powell Watson.

UPDATE: Powell Watson has sent me two emails inviting me to call them. I have. The person on the other end did not know who to direct me to. I left my name and number. Staying true to their commitment to service no one has returned my calls.

Jonathan Castillo and Karina Campos are the MVP at Cadillac of Laredo in the Weisheit family! From the beginning of my inquiry about the Opulent Blue Cadillac XT6 to the very end. Jonathan was my primary salesman and he went ABOVE and BEYOND my expectations to purchase this car to include offering to deliver it to me. About a mth ago. I had gone over to receive an estimate to fix my truck. It was at 7,000 some. I was able to find another place to have it done at 4,000. I went back to request the estimate form Because SSI wanted to see the estimate amouts to have the truck fixed. Ms. Ashley asked why was i taking the truck out and i explained to her the funds to pay the fixing of the truck is coming from SSI and i was only approved for 5,400. Ms. Ashley then said she was going to check something. Later coming back stating she was able to provide us with a discount price. The total amout being 5,000 some. I asked her ARE YOU SURE she responded with YUP, WE ARE HERE TO HELP.now about a mth later. I come by to pick up my truck and i paid 5,485 knowing taxes would be there so assuming i would pay an extra 300 bucks. The cashier states my balance is 4,000 some. I explained to her what Ms. Ashley said. Ms. Ashley comes by and stated she did tell me 5,000 some but they had to add these extra cost. I then again told her. I TOLD YOU THIS WAS COMING FROM SSI. YOU DIDN'T TELL ME ABOUT THE EXTRA COSTS.she didn't care or her manager who was also stating he was there when she told me which he was not. I even said why would i agree to this when i clearly said this money was coming from ssi. I do not have that kind of money i could've gone to the mechanic who was offering it for 5,000. The manager just simply said I DON'T KNOW. I DON'T SEE NOTHING WRONG HERE. When looking at the form where it said total of the amout originally given he scratched it off and placed some other numbers and placed the amout to be 8,000 some. I had to step out because i literally felt my arm falling asleep and my chest hurting. My husband spoke over the phone and in the end we had to pay the remaining amout including both of us having to apply for SUNBIT with a deposit to cover the balance. So now my husband and i have two extra payments added to our lists of payments just so my handicap daughter can have a vehicle to travel in. I am so angered by it all. No apologies given, accountability. I will never go back and i will always tell my story to who ever is thinking about taking thier vehicle to them. This was horrible.

Took my vehicle in for an inspection as the vehicle dash board went blank and almost died while stopped at a red light. After that several items appeared on the dash showing issues/problems. Went to Cadillac of Laredo spoke to J. Gonzalez. They immediately took my vehicle and diagnosed the issue. My battery was replaced, issue resolved. Thanks to Juan Gonzalez and their quick response…,
