TEMPORARILY CLOSED DUE TO FIRE

Gnome Cones is amazing, but they are figuring out what to do about a fire that affected their store. Follow them on Instagram (@gnomecones) for the latest updates.

I loved the texture of the ice, which was soft and more like a very frozen drink than shaved ice.

The Wild Cherry flavor was delicious, I hope to return and try more flavors.

As I cannot have dairy, Gnome Cones is one of my favorite places to grab a dairy free dessert! (Some items have dairy, but they are marked)

We love this place! The snow cones are so delicious and I like that they are dye free and cleaner than regular snow cones. I don’t like to give my kids a bunch of added chemicals and junk in their food. The gnome theme is cute, and they sell gnome souvenirs. My kids like to get some gnome stickers when we come in.

I also love that they have clean restrooms and an easily accessible hand washing sink in the main area as well. Nice to be able to easily wash sticky fingers!

Everything you expect from following on Instagram. The vibe is cute & the trolls blood with ice cream is so yummy.

Loved the decor and theme the first couple of times, but my wife realized the reality of how much we were getting charged for ice and syrup, or in the sugar free cone's case, ice & juice so we stopped. My wife went back recently for the first time in months with our three young daughters and was greeted with a decal on the door and another on the window next to it, expressing the company's pride. We're from Seattle and became frustrated with how aggressive this small group in our country with a large presence in Seattle and San Francisco obsesses over forcing children and adults alike to share their pride about their lifestyle choices. My wife was shocked gnome cone chose to place the decals on the front door and window since so many children love gnome cone due to its theme, decor, and sweet treats being so attractive to their little innocent eyes. We're very disappointed this business is reminding us of one of our many frustrations we had raising our children in the extreme culture of Seattle for their first few years of their precious lives. I hope gnome cones will consider when and where the appropriate places are for them to communicate their personal views, preferences, and pride. There's a time and place for everything especially when little innocent children are involved who are simply wanting a treat rather than a bold proclamation about a subject already being shoved in their face from so many angles and one obvious and recently exposed agenda.

UPDATE: I happened to drive by and noticed gnome cone has now added two more decals that, unlike the first two, my wife saw, say, "All are welcome". The first two decals she saw before they added the new ones had no words. For the record, we believe everyone should be welcomed into any business, yet we wonder how many from this small group has been refused business in Denton before and when was the last time that happened? Are the decals really needed on a children focused desert shop serving snowcones and ice cream after Disney, books in schools, and most recently, Target were found to be intentionally targeting children? Again, I'm asking this small business to consider whether children or even adults looking to enjoy a treat on a hot day truly need these decals greeting them at the entrance?

Cutest little shop! We just tried the vanilla ice cream this time but will be back when they have popsicles again.

Very LGBTQIA+ friendly dogs are okay on the patio, but not inside.

We stopped by this place last time we were in Denton and it is so cute. The snow cones are delicious and adorable. The interior was unique and fun. My kids loved the experience and want to go back soon. They have a lot of little trinkets you can purchase at the front too. We bought a couple fidget style toys as well as stickers and buttons. The price was decent. I can't wait to go back and try other flavors. What a cool idea!

I've been here a number of times and we've always had a great experience. Dye-free is a HUGE plus for us and the staff are always kind and welcoming. Highly recommend.

The gnome theme is adorable and the cones look cute, but they are just gross. They taste like slush on the side of the road that someone spilled their leftover drink in then it rained again. Cute idea, but not yummy. My kids loved all the gnomes though

Super fun snow cone shop.
Son loved his purple birthday cake snow cone.

A must stop.

Cost slightly more than I expected but is more than reasonable when you consider that they have a storefront instead of just a trailer like many others. The outdoor area is cute and fairly comfortable but seems to not get the cleaning care that the indoor area receives.

Agree with other posts about pride stickers at kids eye level on front door and the high prices with little flavor. - - - >> WANT A GREAT ALTERNATE? >> try snow cones from a vendor set up in a trailer in a parking lot on the South side of University near Malone Street. Run by a really cool couple. Much bigger selection and 4 different sizes and prices. Lots of flavor in the cones. Very kid friendly they have bubble wands for kids to play with while ordering. They donate a portion of their proceeds to prison ministry.

Cute little spot in Argyle. There is no inside, so if you’re not okay with the heat, be ready to take it with you. Otherwise, there’s a cute outdoor spot to sit and chat with your friends. Staff was friendly, just wish there was a little more selection.

Snow cone flavors are on point. I had a combo cotton candy ugh strawberry. The shave iced is the soft kind of shaved ice. I will be coming back to visit.

It is delicious. There really isn't much else to say. Just go get a gnome cone already! Blood Orange is my favorite!
