We love the pizza but they say they open at 11, drove 20 min to get pizza and we’re not open at 11, much less ready to serve pizza at 11.

My family orders pizza station at least once a week. The wait is a bit longer but it’s totally understandable because it is freshly prepared and worth the wait. Also, employees are very welcoming.

We love their pizza. I always have a special order and they have always got it right. Thank you for the great service and food.

Great pizza with good flavor. Reminds me of true New York style pizza. Breadsticks are the bomb. Staff is a little aloof and not too friendly for a small town.

I love this little pizza place.but can't eat inside. Their pizza is awesome.plenty of toppings, many choices. Owned locally not a franchise.

Easily the best pizza in Godley Tx, pick up only and times open are odd but they have never let me down on an order.

I just moved to Godley, and decided to try this place out despite all the negative reviews. I am happy to say that I was very pleased with my order. I ordered a large pepperoni and small cheese for take out. It was ready on time, I was greeted with a smile and “hi, how are you? ”. The pizza was hot, fresh and tasty. I have zero complaints. I will be back for more.

As I previously mentioned; I returned to this establishment and again had a wonderful experience. I’m new to the area and this pizza place is no more than 1.5 miles from my house. I pass by it everyday on my way to and from work. It’s convenient for my kids and me. It’s delicious and the young buck working the front has always been helpful. I asked questions about the area, etc.and he was friendly, courteous and answered all my questions without hesitation or attitude. We will continue to frequent this pizza joint.

Didn't even actually get anything because the teenager running the place for the night said his driver doesn't feel like driving on HWY 4. No reason or explanation. Just told us to try again tomorrow or another. Just tonight a 7 pm, the driver doesn't (feel) like it. Honestly is this how you are running your business?

The wait is getting longer and longer. Always 25-30 min longer than they say it will be. Pizza is decent. Wings are usually wet not crispy even if they run them through twice. Placed our order at roughly 6: 15 and just left at 7: 30.

Stopped by Godley Pizza on a Sunday afternoon and were treated to two of the most delicious wood-fired pies I’ve had outside of New York. The cheesy garlic bread was so good we didn’t stop inhaling it long enough to snap a photo, but trust me it was worth every calorie. If you find yourself near Godley, stop by. It’s a simple and straightforward pizza joint, but the end result is worth the wait. YUM!

This place is so good! Nick is always there when i order. The guy straight hustles! He’s usually the only one there, and he crushes it! 10/10

Ordered 3 pizzas at 545pm that should've been delivered by 635pm. Got a call at 651pm from the AM saying it was in the oven then going out next. I then called at 719pm to see whats up now that it had been another 30min and I only live 11mins away and I was told that it was in route and the driver would be here any minute. I got a text at 723 (5 mins later) saying it is on the way. I called back again at 732 another 10 mins later and told the AM I was over it. He kept saying they were short handed by 3 people and basically didn't take any ownership. I straight up said I wanted a refund, I paid $50 for 3 pizzas that have now taken 2 hours to deliver and he said no without saying because it was NOW on the way. I asked to speak to the manager Jennifer but apparently it was SO busy she couldn't deal with an unhappy customer. So she will call back.we will see. This was the FIRST and LAST time I do business with them. Oh a the pizza.as expected, luke warm. ZERO stars.

Update: I talked to the manager.on fb.she never called and was extremely rude and seemed to be upset that I in the end recieved a refund. You can see the exchange there as well as with other customers as well. No ownership is taken, she was just mad at me as if it was my fault and acted like because I was called at 651 everything was ok. She didn't listen to anything I was saying. She argued with me, even the delivery driver got on and tried defending their position. In my opinion being someone who is in management. 1. She should have called me directly as soon as she was able (not comment on my review on fb. 2. She should be apologetic (because obviously regardless a 2 hr wait time when I live 10mins away is ridiculous) 3. She should of tried making it right in some way (instead of defending the situation as if nothing is wrong with that wait time 4. When I explain the MULTIPLE exchanges between me and her AM and how I was misinformed (lied to) multiple times about when the food was on the way and even when I tried canceling BEFORE the pizza was delivered she should have •apologized •explained how this is not how they want to run their business and she will be sure it doesn't happen again (you know because thats what a review is right? Either a sign something needs to be changed or made better or a compliment?)

Its days later and I still find this whole experience extremely unprofessional and surprising to be honest. I understand this isn't a big chain but with that, this is the kind of thing (if done repeatedly) will tank it.

She said I was "pushy" in order to get a refund AND free food and that seems to be why she was so upset with me but in reality Slice told me what she said and all I did is reply back with the truth. The same thing in this review. And again. I tried canceling the food ‍️

Luke warm floppy pizza, which didn't taste very good either! The barely warm cheesy bread was also not good. Picked up pizza at designated time. I wanted to love it. Nope. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

Despite being the only real pizza game in town, they really do care about the quality of their food. Great food, great prices.

Very clean. I personally viewed the Manager teaching the kids that work there the importance of a clean establishment and how to clean. I was throughly impressed as a former General Manager/owner of my own cafe for 15 years. I would definitely recommend this establishment for you and your family to enjoy.

It is convenient. There are no other pizza places that deliver in Godley.
However, the pizza is mostly flavorless. We ordered two different kinds of pizza and we all thought the same thing. I know they work real hard as I see how hard they are working but they need to improve the taste of their pizza.

Two words: EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. We picked up an XL Supreme last night, wasn't hot, seemed old and dried out, crust was floppy/soggy. And Garlic Bread Sticks seemed like something you'd get at CiCi's. For almost $30, you expect much better - like PALIO'S!

REPLY TO OWNER: Sorry for the harsh review, but we're new to the beautiful town of Godley, and we were hoping to have you as our new "go-to" pizza place. Hopefully it was just a rough night for y'all (or a bad apple ruining the bunch kinda thing) and we can expect a far superior product if we ever order again in the future. Thx for taking the time to respond.
