Golden Chick, San Juan TX

The food was very good and the staff was really nice, and attentive to us. Highly recommend this place.

This place is awesome the chicken was nice and juicy manager and staff was super friendly and courteous. But the best part about this place is that they give you free ice cream. This is definitely a plus would definitely continue to come eat here because of the free ice cream option. Which may I add that it's self served too. This place definitely rocks.

The food is great but the service ruins the dining experience. It was so bad we had to ask for a refund on our meal. Unfortunate because we do like the food. Never again.

I've eaten at this chain outside of the Valley. I think the menu options are better than the other fried chicken restaurants. I like the roasted chicken, Cajun rice and chicken salad best. When I saw that one had opened up in the Valley I was delighted. I eat a lot of chicken due to my health problems. It was nice to get chicken other than just fried.

Service very slow.waited 20 minutes for order. 2 piece chicken.one piece was cold and greasy. Only 3 or 4 people dining in but service was super slow, did notice people ordering to go got served first and quicker.will stick to CHURCHIES! @

Newer remodeling, huge parking lot, large dining Area. Seemed like an all woman work force that diligently keep everything running smoothly. Fried chicken and wings were awesome, pieces were h u g e. Bathroom very clean, dining room spotless. Soda dispenser leaked water on floor, recognized slipping hazard and promptly fixed problem. A pleasant place for dining, I shall return.

My bad Experience with Golden Chick started when I got home and I realized that my wings were the wrong ones. I called the store and there was no answer. I decided to wait till the next day to drive over there because it was already too late and it was a 20 minute drive to get there. So I went back on the 7th around noon And that's when my bad experience started. When I explained to the lady that was the cashier in the drive through windowthat my order was wrong and that i would like it done right she said it was too late because the order was from the night before and i should have called then so it was too late for me to do anything even if i did bring back the complete order with the recreipt.so i asked for the manager and she was worse than the cashier.as she came to the window i could see she angry and had a very bad atitude demanding my credit card that I used to pay with because she was gonna give me a refund.when i never asked for a refund. I told her I wasn't asking for a refund i just wante my order done right. Her response was, well, you should have called last night. So I said, I did call. Would you like to see my phone history? Her response was I should have kept trying. Because she was busy on the phone with someone at the time that I called. At that point I just said she's just throwing up roadblocks and escalating the situation, so I just decided to give her my credit card and get the refund.and she had an atitude all the way to the end. I do want to give two thumbs up to the cashier from the night before, Mykel. For being calm, courteous, apologetic and sympathetic For fixing the first mistake, I discovered on the same order. Great food, just bad management. The other rude employees are probably learning it from management. Recommendations. More training into customer service and customer satisfaction. Let me know people who is wrong in this case the customer or the manager.

Great place to eat but be very skeptical of ur drive thru order I'm always missing something never fails I don't even call back any more cus they never honor thier mistakes

I can honestly say that I rarely find a fast food place that takes this much pride in their food. It is phenomenal! I've tried different items on their menu but keep coming back to their spicy tenders, corn cheese stuffed fritters, I think that's what they're called, and their jalapeño poppers. I love their Okra. The green beans-meh not so much. Oh my gosh. Their ROLLS! Are my favorite. I can't resist. I try to eat low carb but I don't care when it comes to their rolls! You pay little more but these prices are worth the food quality. I appreciate that I can also substitute the drink for another side! Who does that? ! It's sad to admit that I just started going to Golden Chick.where have I been? You will not regret, a must try!

Very good chicken and love the spicy always need extra it's super good the employees are very nice as well

We actually like the food here very much but in my case with my big family it really comes out very expensive I just wish it was a little bit cheaper

50048. First of all I ordered Two Big and golden sandwiches with a side of mashed potatoes, as soon as I left I checked my order and had two chicken salads sandwiches and no mash potatoes. When I went back to let them know I received the wrong order Blanca stated "I was just telling the manager I know you ordered the chicken salad" and I stated I know I ordered the Two golden sandwiches can I get those instead of the chick salad sandwiches and she then stated "I Know what I heard". The rudest customer service I ever had. I don’t understand how replacing my order was so difficult for the worker to do, I will not be going back to this golden chick location. If I could rate 0 stars I would! Please do better.
