Golden Corral Buffet & Grill, San Antonio TX

Because of a recent hand surgery and a newborn baby visit I wasn't able to cook the usual Thanksgiving feast. I chose to order a turkey meal and the ham meal to feed 10 of us, and I must say, we were all impressed.

Food was aweful. Rice was hard. French fries were cold inside and hot outside. Pizza tasted horrible. Steak was rubber like tasting (hard and chewy), dessert's carrot cake had a fly stuck to it and was hard, lemon meringue pie was the only excellent piece I had. I would truly suggest spending your money else where. You spend alot of money and then for that to happen! Unacceptable. We won't be going back. Previous customer that won't be returning* EVER*

Food is alright, however I am very disappointed how they removed popcorn shrimp and pot roast off their menu. My biggest problem is one of the steak grillers. The big man with a beard is one of the worst cooks I have ever seen. He is stingy with the portions he serves and overall looks like he does not enjoy his job.

Friends took me here for my birthday! The servers were fantastic, and the food was fresh, hot, and delicious. I am looking forward to coming back again! Thank you for making my birthday even better.

Came here on Thanksgiving day and the line was outside but it was quick, I love the staff hospitality and treating us like family, thank you!

I love the food there especially my beef stew but there's always a bit at the end the price are very high but other than that it's good I noticed how the managers are always on top of the employees to continue sanitizing keeping area clean room temperature they don't notice me but I noticed them thank you

This location does not make enough food as stated. Food is not replaced or freshly made as the day progresses.leaving newly arrived customers with scaps. Also, staff not happy to work there.

I went there on 11/11/2021 because they offered a free buffet meal from 5: 00 p.m. To 9: 00 p.m. For the United States military veterans. Formerly enlisted or presently enlisted as a means for US military veterans to know that we are still thought of and remembered.
The Golden corral on Southwest military drive serves buffet style, daily. Yesterday there was choices of ham, sausage links, pork ribs, chicken fried steaks, fish, chicken drumsticks, chicken breast, chicken thighs, steaks cooked to your preference, mashed potatoes, gravy and, fruits and vegetables to make your own salad, buttered rolls, cornbread, different desserts such as cakes pies cookies cotton candy jello squares. Refillable drinks from water to coffee to sodas.
A highly welcoming spirit from the staff and employees there at the Golden Corral. When I was there I witnessed veterans at every table either smiling or actively engaged in conversation with members of the table. Also people greeting each other such as veterans and other veterans.
There was a short line of people before me and after me by the time I got there around 6: 30 pm. But the line move very quickly and it was an extremely short wait and felt no more than maybe maybe 15 minutes.
Everyone was welcomed by members of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) who are passing out " I Served " stick-ums. After which each one of us chose our respective? At any of the tables available. Where female staff member would quickly appear to ask what manner of drink you wanted to drink, and she would rush off and bring the drink for you.
I have eaten at this place before and I've always tended to enjoyably overeat. Last night was no exception. I am definitely going to go back there in the near future. And make it at least once a month visit. Knowing that I will have to increase my walking and stretching exercises.

It was good we loaded up Togo. We were with the band for football game. Everyone was very nice

This was our first visit to Golden Corral on this part of town. I was disappointed because when I took a bite of my cornbread a dead fly popped out I did show it to the manager and he told me it didn't come out of the bread and I told him well I guess I brought it with me. I told him I had witness because they saw it pop out. We will never come to this location

Food & service is great but Golden Corral should have better control of patrons with children running and allowing them to roam loose unsupervised.

Food was hott, fresh and good. Had a little more different stuff than my normal in north Carolina but definitely made it better. Enjoyed

Didn't have photos to share. The food was great especially the grilled steak. Rueben was on the grill & he did & amazing job. First time visiting Golden Corral in SanAntonio.

Very clean and organized, wish they had fried shrimp on the lunch buffet. Really enjoyed the baked potato and meatloaf. Service is friendly with a family atmosphere
