Golden Corral Buffet & Grill, San Antonio TX

It was terrible. Very few selections of food. The food was cold, gummy, mixed with other food. Waitress was unattainable. The room was super cold. The staff in general seemed to be bothered if you asked them for anything, even a fork. For the money, it's not worth it. Considering there is a better golden coral just up the road on 1604. But to tell you the truth, I would drive all the way to the Golden Coral in New Braunfels before eating here again. To the managers on duty, you should really pay more attention to everything around you instead of doing your cooks job. I think he was cooking the steak just fine. Everything else was falling apart, especially the salad and sweets section. To that same micromanaging manager, you can not cook. You burned the chicken you were cooking and didn't toast the sausage I asked you to toast.

They have really upgraded this location! Food was fresh! Omelettes and french toast were amazing! Great selection of food to choose from and a good price as well. We will definitely be coming back to this location! It's way better than the location off of 1604 and bandera!

The quality of the food is terrible, not fresh, lettuce, stale. Cooks not very attenative to their stations. Very disappointed.

Messy place (I understand it was full) but. Even with a lot of staff, the buffet was very neglected. The bathrooms horrible all dirty. I love this place but everyone I go to in San Antonio is horrible. The other time in Military my husband was poisoned by a chicken. Try to give this one a chance as it is another location. But I don't think I'm going back.

The place is small for the number of people crammed in there. These kinds of places really need to have a larger floor space for the movement of people

Everything is great about this place, great service and food is so delicious and a great variety.

In my opinion only, the selection of food was limited. Compared to other restaurants in different cities. I’m used to our hometown location. Our service lady was super quick at making sure we had all that we needed. I felt for it being so busy they needed more staff to keep the floors clean. Kids are running around bumping into adults. Screaming for one more snack. It’s the last days of summer, what can you expect!? Overall it was ok.

We came with a group of 42. Our server was amazing! Don't remember her name! Tipped her well, on top of the automatic gratuity.

We went there at 10 am after my mother in laws hospital appointment, this particular restaurant was awesome, staff amazing and polite, food fantastic, restaurant really clean but best of all ice cream and chocolate brownie for breakfast Awesome.

Food was excellent and everything was fresh. The only problem was a guest with a dog that was wandering around the table next to me with a vest but was begging and being fed from the table.

When arriving to golden corral there was an officer outside speaking to a homeless man. The managers and other staff were standing in the doorway gocking. I'm sure they were the ones who called the cops. U know as much food as they throw away they could have just fed the poor man. I almost didn't stay as it upset me. However the waiter in my section went above and beyond and the food was good. But I will most likely just stay on my side of town and not come back to this location as I didn't like all the drama going on

Delicious food. I got a little of this and a little of that. Whatever you are in the mood to eat, they have it.
