Golden Dumpling House reviews
16 OMG.some of the best dumplings I have ever had. Prices are great. Dumplings are great. This place is great.
To go only, they do not take credit cards.
It is a takeaway only spot, we ate ours in the car because it smelled so good!
The pan fried dumplings are amazing and so good on the wallet, its a must try spot!
If you like dumplings, this place is definitely worth it!
My go-to place for fresh, handmade dumplings! The dumplings are juicy, and the skin is chewy and bouncy, albeit slightly thick for my personal taste. They give soy sauce and chili oil sauce as condiments. Although, I wish the soy sauce had more vinegar to balance out the saltiness.
My go-to order here is the pan-fried shrimp/pork/vegetable pan-fried dumpling and the black bean noodle (zhajiang noodle). Sometimes the pan-fried dumpling is just barely pan-fried, so there is really no crispiness, but I don’t care too much about this.
They only accept cash and Zelle here. This restaurant also has been indefinitely take-out only since COVID-19 started.
The portions are enormous especially for the price. Dumplings are slightly on the doughy side but still very tasty.
Hands down the best dumplings I've found in Houston from any Chinese place or Asian spot. Living here 35+ years and I'm a dumpling and Lo Mein lover. Prices are The Best as well as the size and portion. Can't eat in but I love to see the same few people always there! Must pay by cash or zelle tho.worth it
Currently only take out is available. The price is super affordable paid $23 for all this. The dun dun noodles were very bland. The dumplings were okay, they have a lot of dough compared to the filling. The pan fried dumplings tasted better than the steamed. You get a lot of dumplings for the price but in my opinion I would pay a little more for better dumplings. If you are looking for super cheap dumplings this is the place.
Super good and so worth it, highly recommend, portions are huge, but it does take some time but it is worth it
Why open a business, but not for customers to enjoy atmosphere? No dine table but take out only.
Good dumplings! Got fired and steamed both very good quality, could come with a better sauce but was ok. You can't eat there as its take out only now which bummed me out but we very nice place will eat again!
Only take out. No dine in. Got pan seared chicken dumplings. FIRE.so good. Recommend getting extra sauce. Cash or Zelle only
The best Chinese food restaurant! Very beautiful and great location. At present there is only carry on and no ding in. So I suggest not to go for ding in.
Great food and great value! I ordered 10 dumplings and a scallion pancake. The total came to $10.28 and it was more food than I could eat. Be advised they don't accept cards, only cash and Zelle or PayPal.
Great dumplings! The best my wife and I have ever had! Great service and a great experience in general! Will be back! This is from a Kansan
The best dumplings in Houston. Possibly the world but I’ve never left houston and tried em so we will say the world.
The food is is really good and it’s so addicting to. Eating the dumplings and how they just melt in your mouth makes it soooo good. I usually always get the fried pork dumplings and for the sauce I mix it in vinegar and peppers. Currently they are closed until the 20 something, I do not remember exactly when. They only accept cash here so be aware of that. Overall I love this place but I really wish they would bring back the dine in option because it would make the experience so much better.
The store is only doing carry out, no dine in.
I had the pork and vegetable on fried dumplings, and the pork, shrimp, and vegetable steamed dumplings. The dumplings’ skin was to the thicker side. Thus filled up the stomach fast. However, the meat was seasoned well and fresh.
Would come here again.
