Goldfish Swim School - Sugar Land

I signed my son up for the free trial and he absolutely loved it. I appreciated the heated pool, clean bathrooms/changing rooms and kind swim instructors. You receive a skill summary of your swimmer's progress after the session. The owner, Tommy, personally reached out to me asked how the trial went and took time to explain the membership benefits. He helped me decide on an option that would fit my son's schedule. I really appreciate the customer service and will be recommending them to friends/family. FYI- this franchise is family owned.

My daughter just turned 6 months old and had her first swimming less at Goldfish. She had such a great time. The instructor was very professional and helpful. Can't wait for less number 2! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get their young one comfortable in the water.

Both of my kids attend classes here. I personally have always been taken care of at Gold fish swimming. They have been very helpful working with my schedule and making sure addressing all my questions are answered regarding my kids status. I would highly recommend this swimming school as it has a lot benefits for all different age groups.

My kids have been going to goldfish since August and they are in love with this place. Staff is really good, instructor worked really good with my kids. This is the best place to learn how to swim. My 6 year and 3 year loves coming to class and they learned a lot. The facility is very clean. I will definitely highly recommend this place for swim lessons. They also have make up options for missed classes which other schools I don’t think they have. Lastly, I really appreciate Mr. Tommy’s help. He is a great, knowledgeable and very professional Manager.

We put our son in with Coach Anna and she's been great with him. He was a little hesitant at first but Anna was very patient with him and made him comfortable where he now looks forward to his swimming lessons.

I love this place! Ms Kamryn is an amazing instructor! My son has lots of energy and can have a hard time focusing. She is patient with him and can get him back on track. He has responded so well with her!

My son who is 4 started swimming clases during summer and he loves love loves Hailey, she is the best with kids and my son has a lot of confidence with her. But this last few months they moved her and she is no longer swim instructor. Ever since then his swimming skills have not got better. He was progressing with her only. All the other instructors who he has took lessons with he does not like or got better (and they been 5 diff ones). It’s December now and he still hasn’t swimed on his own. I think 30 min lesson once per week it’s not enough at all. Plus it’s like 4 kids at once. And then some kids be bringing big toys with them into the lesson and risking hurting the other children or even the instructor. I like the place but I won’t be going back after my son membership is over. I don’t see no progression after 6 months. Cmon it does not take that long to teach and build confidence in a kid that long. The 30 min with 4 children is not enough time or they need to have atleast 2 instructors. Most of the time the instructors aren’t using the full 30 min to instruct because handling 4 kids it’s too much and risky.

My girls can swim by theirselves! The progress was steady.
Moreover I want to thank Kamryn for patience and skillfulness in working with my daughter who was initially scared of the water. Kamryn empowered her to try new things, guided her doing proper technique, and kept me updated graciously about her progress. I am sad Kamryn is leaving. My daughter just began enjoying her swimming classes (we actually stopped them at one point because she was that scared) and learning how to swim independently.

I would recommend Yann, he was very attentive and made the experience both fun and challenging for my kids. They really enjoyed training with him. Thank you for the excellent service.

COACH ANNA IS AMAZING. My son looks forward to swimming because of her. We love the way how she teaches him patiently. I would recommend her to everyone.

We have been attending the Goldfish Swim School in Sugar Land since August 2023. Our 5 year old didn’t know how to swim or have much confidence to begin with. In just 4 months she has overcome all fear and does great thanks to Caliyah! We are super excited and looking forward to next year at Goldfish with Caliyah.

My son enrolled in the Mini 2 class on Sunday this year. Ms. Caliyah did a good job to introduce him to the swimming pool. He started loving the water and enjoying the class. Many thanks to Ms. Caliyah's patience and instructions!

My two daughters look forward coming for their swimming lesson, their instructor, Ms. Caliyah is a wonderful person with lots of patience dealing with one of my daughter who is a special need child. She been introduced to many instructors at the beginning but none of them were able to work with my special need child, but ever since they pair her with Instructors Caliyah, she was all set. She listened and follow directions and able to pick up some swimming techniques. I’m blessed to have Caliyah as their instructor. She is awesome!

Gabby is the best teacher for juniors at Sugarland location. My daughter is 3 and absolutely loves working with her. She ensures to utilize the entire time teaching and not just playing in water. She is very patient and thorough!

This place is great! My son has learned so much in the last 4 months. His swim instructor Talan is amazingly patient and kind. My son looks forward to his regular classes and private lessons.

We have been going here for 2 years now. Ms. Gabby is the best! She always hands on with my boys and cares about them! We just wished she was in the water more often with them! But every chance we get to swim with Ms. Gabby we take it!

My son & I had a Golden Experience this month as he started his first ever swim class at the Sugarland location. Even signing up was great, really easy, and the staff and management were welcoming and informative of all our options. Gabby was a super friendly instructor and helped my little beginner feel safe in the water. She had great feedback after the class and I can tell she takes each swimmer at their own pace and personality. Looking forward to more Golden Experiences with this great team in 2024!

My son enjoys swimming and has improved his skills alot since he joined Goldfish swim school. I love to bring my son here as the staff is super friendly and give there 100 percent in teaching the kids. I will highly recommend this place for their kids swimming lessons.

I don’t think 5 stars even does this location justice. If I could give 10 I would! From the first time my son and I stopped in to check it out, to the free trial and then signing up has been nothing short of amazing! The staff is beyond welcoming. The instructors are awesome and the location is always so clean and inviting! From Check in to check out, you really feel at home. I absolutely love GoldFish Swim school of Sugar Land and I hope to remain a member for many many many more years to come! Thank you for not only supporting my son’s swim journey (which he loves) but to even supporting me some days! It really takes a village and I’m so glad I found a village in you all! Thanks soo much!

Also I would like to add to my review and highlight my son's favorite instructor Kamryn. Honestly, as most staff have noticed, if Kamryn isn't there, my son isn't swimming. He literally talks about her between sessions and always wants to make her proud. He absolutely adores her and so do I. From her knowledge and guidance to her continuous support and encouragement makes not only watching her teach fun but allows for my son to learn and have fun at the same time! You can't beat that. Kamryn is a gem and I am so happy she teaches at this location.

Instructer Gaby is one of the best. My child had few classes with her, but i attest to Gaby's determination, focus and friendlyness even with other classes she does with other kids. If i could have her every class of mine i would.
