Most of the equipment is useable, but the age is starting to show on most of it. There is a little musty smell as well like you are in an old basement. Also parking sucks at this location. Overall, it isn't the worst place to work out, but I cannot wait until the slaughter location opens.

This place has the worst set up for daycare. Not only do they seem to not care but seem to be full most of the time. We have a family plan yet always seem to have to wait for room. Always see someone having to wait to put their child in. Starting to regret leaving 24 hour fitness for this place. Hopefully the new golds that open will be better. If not, back to 24hiur we go

Its convenient but not clean they cut down a lot on the business hrs and are pricey for not having a presentable and many usage of equipment as other Gyms in general.

Not bad. Equipment is occasionally broken and takes weeks to fix. Not bad for the price, though. Has everything you need for any type of workout.

The gym itself is mostly fine, minus a lot of cracked/broken 45lb plates. Problem is the gym is severely overcrowded, consistently. The gym is packed at almost all times of the day, most free weights and cables are at all times occupied.

Nice gym, was able to use my hometown membership to access the facility. Way better than any hotel fitness center.

If you are considering a Gold’s Gym membership, CONSIDER ANOTHER GYM! Read the fine print in the contract carefully & expect to pay for another 30 days AFTER you cancel your membership. DO NOT SET UP automatic payment using a credit card!

Last summer, I had knee surgery. You cannot cancel you membership by phone or email so I hobbled into Ben White location on crutches to fill out their form. When I asked young associate at front desk if my card would be charged again, twice he replied “No” so imagine my surprise when my card was charged again!

I went to see Manager Sunny Reese who could see I was on crutches yet told me to read fine print in my contract. She expected me to go back to my surgeon and return back with a written physician’s statement.

I filed a dispute through my Capital One credit card & they refunded charges. However, I found a sympathetic manager who also got me a refund. However, “Gold’s Gym” was only noted once on my charge card so I did not realize that my card was credited twice.

Over my 3 years of membership, I estimate that I paid approximately $4000+ for dues and personal training, NEVER had a late payment since it was automatically paid by my credit card. Instead of contacting me about this clerical error, Gold’s Gym charged me a mysterious (punitive?) $40.00 charge and sent my account to a COLLECTIONS AGENCY! I have an 832 credit score so this experience has been very stressful for me.

I have tried to resolve this issue for more than a month. Gold’s Gym’s “Customer Care” does not accept phone calls only emails. I receive cold, impersonal & unsigned emails from Customer Care. They did not reply to Capital One in writing during the 90 day period so refund Capital One gave me was not put back on my card.

I recommend that you choose another gym (YMCA? 24 Hour Fitness?) where management may treat their clients much better with empathy & respect.

Absolute worst Golds I have ever been to! I had an issue with my membership upon cancelling. On several occasions I was stopped and had to explain and show proof that I had access to the gym for another month. Finally, I got hasstled by some weasel of a GM, Brian, had to stop my workout yet again so this poor excuse of a human being could berate me and blame me for their system issues and berate me. It's no surprise he is at the location that is on the chopping block to be decommissioned. When I asked for information to contact corporate, he dodged until finally surendering his business card to me instead. I can handle the run down and dated equipment. Sub human customer service is unacceptable. Run from this club!

Beat down equipment. Dumbbells are rusty and beaten. Lots of donkeys taking up benches with they belongings that should be in the lockers. Won't return.

I love Golds Gym I was a little hesitant at first to try it being that this gym is in the mall how wrong I was it I so big the machines are super nice and look well maintained very clean I tried their protein shakes really good shakes and my wife loves the tanning if you are a 24 member you should consider switching golds is nowhere near as crowded and golds has way nicer equipment ill be training at golds over 24 hour fitness.

I was so livid when I had a membership that lapsed. I go back and then ask to pay off my old account in order to reactivate it, then they couldn't find my old info. They proceeded to open a new account and everything was fine. I go in one day to work out and pay a past due bal and low and behold i'm hit with both my new and old membership fees. "give me my ID back and I left forever"

They have been secretly donating to a Super PAC that has been running attack ads on Beto O’Rourke. Canceling my membership. Dark money has no place in politics. Shame on you.

I go to this gym because it's close to home. I've seen nicer gold gyms, this one is kind of old. It would be nice if they could remodel it, and add more machines for lifting. The employees are great, so I would say that makes up for it.

So I have been working out in my home gym for a few years now, but noticed a few months back I have just really stalled and felt like I needed a push. So i went into Gold's and met with the manager Justin. At first I was so intimidated by his physique, I thought to myself he doesnt know what its like to be a busy mom with 4 little boys. I said I wanted to just sign up for a trial period. He looked at me and said " what is a couple of days gonna do for you? You came here to change your life so do it" Honestly i think i signed up just to get out of there. But that night i went to get dressed up to go to a nice dinner with my hubby and my dress didnt fit me, I felt devastated. I kept hearing Justins voice.so I went the next day and have gone every day since. I have lost six inches off my waist, even more than that around my hips area. I went from being able to only walk on the treadmill to being able to run 2 miles.
So i just want to say thank you to Justin for pushing me, you are THE BEST at what you do. I love my new and improved body and I love this gym
