Love this gym! We live by The Rim and started driving over to this location. The equipment and colors they picked for the renovations are trendy and make the environment relaxing and cool while working out. I love the open concept while having the sectioning of equipment helps combat the crowd in the evenings. Just finished the GFCC with my bf and Heidi and Austen made it a great and motivating experience. Melissa’s yoga class on Thursday’s is the best! This gym makes me actually want to come to the gym!

Very nice machines, clean facility and staff are helpful if needed. Lots of free weights and machines. Lots of benches.

I love this gym! Staff are super friendly and courteous. Key to a better experience is to go during off peak hours if possible. Money well spent.

I went here a few years ago for a “free 1-Week Trial”. This branch appealed to me because I work nights and this branch is open 24 hours.

It was difficult to start the trial. I arrived and was turned down; I apparently had to print a form from home and the gym didn’t supply the document. When I finally brought the form, that’s when the circus began.

A salesperson dressed in workout gear walked out to greet me. He had his elbows flared, chin up and was trying to flex. It was a bazaar act. He probably weighted less than 150.

He looked at my document and acted amazed that I’m an RN (such a rare occupation) and that he “has a great friend who was an RN too”. This used-car, Dale Carnegie tactic for gaining rapport was insincere and patronizing.

All I wanted was the week-trial. I told him, I really just needed a few days. If I like the equipment and the environment during the midnight hours; then I’ll most likely join.

The salesperson wasn’t listening. He was so focused on getting me signed up for personal trainers, that I was changing my mind. Me joining would have been a simple, easy sale; however, this person kept talking. He talked my way out of joining.

The salesman drew a Concept Map. It displayed a circle for START; a Star for FINISH, a square for STRENGTH training, a triangle for CARDIO and other nonsense. He drew lines connecting the different symbols in several direction, finally ending up at the Finish.

The salesperson, then drew a PT in the corner and informed me „If you get a PERSONAL Trainer“, you can make the path from START to FINISH, like this“. He then, drew a line directly from start to finish in a linear fashion. He explained nothing.

His presentation would be amusing for a 5 year old, but not me. I was hurtfully baffled and left confused.

The stipulation to the „free trial“ was that I had to go to the gym WHILE this salesperson was on his shift. Why? So he can micromanage me?

He waited to tell me this AFTER the gym tour; AFTER his Incessant questions and after his childish presentation. He knew in advance that I would attend the gym during the midnight hours. I told him this directly; yet, he chose to not listen and ignored what I wanted.

I really can’t recommend this gym. Why be associated with Used-Car Salesperson pitches. It’s a gym, it should sell itself.

I am delighted to share with you my experience with Dany Baki a personal trainer at Gold’s Gym. The expertise and guidance he's provided through my strength training sessions have been amazing. Dany consistently redesigns my sessions to keep me progressing and as a result I have noticed increased long-term endurance, core strength, and improved ability to manage daily stress. Furthermore, Dany is professional, encouraging, and a joy to work with. He is true gem! If you are looking for a personal trainer he is definitely the best of the best!

Services I used: goldsfit classes: coaches help you do movements correctly. They encourage you and try to create a positive community through their actions and words. The workout targets different areas in various ways. I enjoy the space and equipment so that I can push myself in my discomforts. I enjoyed the Metcon testers to see where I am mentally and physically.

Cycle class: we to 2 classes and great energy by Coach T. She has a great setup with music and videos. I definitely enjoyed the classes.

BodyPump: this class really is a PUMP. The pace is great and the people were generous to help!

Overall facility:
Clean restroom, good stretch space, cardio machines working and friendly desk crew.

I wish this gym had a sauna room available.

Open the sauna, the pool, and jacuzzi at this location already. This location is supposed to be the flagship most updated facility and you lose customers daily due to your laziness. There are only two golds gym in a 10 mile radius that have the facilities open one on Culebra and one on 151 and potranco so please get back to customer service and open the facilities.

Seems like a standard gym. Usual guys peacocking of course. But has showers and facilities. Plenty of equipment. Can get a bit over busy and you get stuck waiting for equipment some times. Wish they had a good punching bag and boxing speed bag.

This location has one of the best areas for squat and dead lift, heavy lifts, I have been to. Big big spaces. It contains six areas for this. All to difficult to express how special this location is. It has another designated room for Bench Press. Super nice. And I did not take pictures. But this is a very new location. Super clean. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and trainers. Lots of room to accommodate the crowd. And it can get crowded, but don't let the parking lot scare you. This place can handle the volume comfortably.
