Gomez Western Wear reviews
6 Great variety of boots. Hats and clothes.
Good price
And friendly customer service!
Great boots and good prices. They will steam and stretch them for you to help break them in at no cost.
Place was ok had cloth and boots and hats but not to many that fit and only regular cowboy style
Got hatchback boots belt wallet jeans and shirt for a great bundle price!
I walked in the store and I got a friendly hello everything was cool. But after a second I felt like I was being hounded about what I was looking for. I couldn’t browse the store without someone being over my shoulder. I tried a pair of Cuadra boots with Christopher or Cristobal, he was pretty nice. But him and what I assume would be the manager kept trying to get me into a 9.5 when I clearly told them I wore a 10. I told him my toe was hurting the top of the toe box and so they started looking for a bigger size or another toe shape which I didn’t want to wear.
When they couldn’t find another size what I assume would be the manager went out and started stretching the boot without even asking me if that’s what I wanted. And I can only assume that they will probably stretch any boot they have available when that should be done for the customer after that pay for it. Because now the next person that tries that boot will have inconsistency in sizing and this was all to try to get me into a size I didn’t wear. All and all I ended up buying a Fiebings leather dye for 27 dollars which I found online for 10. This place has high prices on all their products and play the game “I can have you leaving here with this boot for 20% off” to get you to bite. Unfortunately the two times I’ve been to Gomez western wear it has been the same experience so I will not be returning and will be going to cavenders and boot barn. I tried to support Gomez because they are Mexican owned but their sales tactics made it a pain to go in the store.
