Goode Co. Fish Camp reviews
16The gumbo and redfish were incredible! Great atmosphere. Leon and Michael took great care of us.
It's a lot like Goode Co. Seafood, but the menu is slightly different. They still have the campechana. The food is good, the service is good, and the facility has a good vibe. We will go back often.
One of our favorites no matter which part of Houston we're in! Goode's knows how to give a great customer experience! Food is great! Service is fabulous!
Loved the service, loved the atmosphere but the food was just okay. 2 stone crab for $35 and the red fish ($75) was barely enjoyable. Maybe it’s the atmosphere that brings in the customers or maybe we just ordered the wrong things. Oysters were good and the Ranch Water was probably the best part.
Thank you Heather for your attentiveness and professionalism.
It was my husband and I’s first time dining here and the service was spectacular. The food was okay (just because they do their best to put there unique spin on classic dishes and sometimes our pallets don’t make the necessary adjustments).
Overall, I’d recommend a visit and ask for Heather!
She’s awesomely amazing!
I had the redfish po-boy (minus the pesto garlic butter) and it was good.
My husband had the Gulf Shrimp Tagliatelle.
We enjoyed a late lunch and tried the tuna tostadas, boudin balls, tile fish, shrimp po-boy, brussels sprouts, fries. The fried shrimp and brussels sprouts were especially good. Tile fish very good, just a little rich. The service was exceptional - Alaina assisted us in our choices since it was our first visit. Will return.
So I actually showed up because I thought it was a BBQ restaurant and never have actually ate at any of the Goode Co’s.
However I am sitting here currently pondering about how amazing the food was. The Flavor was top shelf for just about everything. Very much enjoyed our experience probably the best seafood I’ve had in the area Strongly Recommend the Gulf snapper
Goode Company Fish Camp in The Woodlands, Texas is an upscale restaurant of the finest quality. First rate, professional service and beautifully prepared and presented delicious food, the Goode Company has done it again. Highly recommend.
One of the better seafood restaurants in Montgomery County. We sat at the bar and immediately greeted by the bartender. It was happy hour, so we took full advantage. One of the things we ordered was the Fresh Gulf Oysters at $1.50 per oyster, which today is considered a good price. We loved them so much, we ordered another dozen.
After our oysters, we ordered our meals. One was the Fried Gulf Shrimp. The other was the Gulf Seafood Skewer. Both were excellent. The Fried Shrimp were perfectly fried and flavorful. It came with French Fries, Slaw, and Hushpuppy. We loved it all. The Gulf Seafood Skewer consisted of shrimp and snapper with a summer fruit and citrus salad, farmer's cheese, arugula, red onion, and heirloom tomato. For what I considered one of their healthier options was absolutely excellent.
Overall, we loved the food and the service at Goode Co. Fish Camp. The service was some of best service we've had anywhere in The Woodlands. I have always been a fan of their seafood restaurants in Houston. I was really glad they came out to The Woodlands. We can't wait to go back.
And one thing that Goode Co.does the absolute best is their famous Pecan Pie.
We've been twice, tried half the menu, everything was great! Service and mgmt was great too!
Wonderful dinner is a little pricey but worth it. The menu is not vast, which is a good thing, mostly fish that is found in the Gulf of Mexico. The food was fresh and came out hot. The staff and service were excellent. I highly recommend Goide Co. Fish Camp.
As always, I do not receive any kind of compensation or discounts for my reviews. My reviews are a reflection of the restaurant or establishment as to the day and time I went.
Fresh seafood dishes, red fish poboy was worth it, crab cocktail with chips was full of flavor, fried shrimp was tasteful, and shrimp pasta is tasty
I've been meaning to review this spot for a while. We have a habit of wandering in here on Sunday afternoons for an early dinner. Fish on Sunday? Yes. Because it's always fresh here. The focus is on gulf seafood and they let it shine. Our server, Genesis was awesome. She knows the menu and made great recommendations. We ate all the things. The redfish collar was a standout. She told us it was good. We left with dessert and leftovers packed with care. Always a good experience.
Omg! This is hubs and I favorite place! Hubs had the redfish on a half shell, no pic sorry! Omg! So stinking good! I’m had the Remoulade shrimp salad and 2 damn goode frozen margaritas!
The oysters on the half shell was devine! We are definitely going back!
Delicious food! The tuna tostadas, deviled crab for starters. Great wine menu and cocktails. We have been here twice now and everything is AMAZING!
Hands down one of the best places I’ve eaten at. The food is fantastic as well as the service! Gustavo was super attentive and just awesome. Everything was divine. Wonderful experience! Can’t wait to go back!
