Goode Company BBQ, Houston TX

I would not order for delivery here. I ordered last night using Uber Eats and paid extra for speedy delivery. Forty minutes later, I checked the app and they cancelled my order. At this point, it was getting late and only fast food was now available. I did have a couple of random calls which I assumed was spam which might have been Goode Co calling, but they never left a message. Bottom line, if you need your food today, don't order from here or use Uber Eats.

Pretty good BBQ. It's cafeteria style like most BBQ places. I got the three-meat dinner with brisket, jalapeno sausage, and pork ribs. The brisket was delicious, the jalapeno sausage was average and I wasn't a huge fan of the ribs. For sides I got potato salad and Mac and cheese. The Mac and Cheese is INCREDIBLE and I highly recommend it. The environment is great too.

This place is amazing. The feeling you get in there is unique. Food was superb.we had the ribs and the jalapeño sausage. The flavors, juiciest and tenderness was excelent. The sides to die for. Totally recommend this place. We stayed at a hotel near by for 5 days and went there 3 nights. That's how much we liked it.

This place was great, it was my first time eating here. I got the baked potato with brisket, I fell in love. My husband got the 3 meat meal with mac and cheese.beans as his sides. For dessert we had their pecan pie. Everything was just really good. Thank you guys!

Bought take out 1 lb brisket; this is first place I had to pay for BBQ sauce, bread $1 a slice or $5 a loaf won't be returning

Ordered 1 lb extra lean brisket and a loaf of jalapeno cheese bread. Made delicious sandwiches. They included sauce, pickles and extra jalapenos. Robert brought ought my curbside to go order. Excellent service. Recommend highly.

Staff was nice. However food was very bland. $50+ for two plates of bland food. Should of got a refund how tasteless it was. We wont be back.

Pass this place by if you are looking for delicious adorable BBQ.

Cons: Brisket as barley any on a 3 meat plate. They weight the ribs with the bone in it and act like that is a proper portion. The BBQ sauce tastes like tomato sauce. And they put fruit in their bake beans.

Pro: The sausage was decent and Mac and cheese was on point, but they will not offer to make you another batch if you come in an hour before they close.

Conclusion, go anywhere else but here. Rudy's, Kileens anywhere. This place is a big thumbs down. Was really looking forward to it too, especially since they decorated so well on the inside.

Tried BBQ here and while the staff was incredibly friendly and the dining area was clean, I did not enjoy the food. I ordered the turkey breast and jalapeno sausage, which was fine but the bbq tasted like flavorless tomato sauce/ketchup and the mac and cheese was runny, undercooked, and devoid of flavor. It was an unexceptional dining experience and I don't see myself returning.

First experience in this BBQ place and very positive experience. We took a sample of all the meat and everything was excellent. Smily service. Well decorated and large indoor and outdoor place to eat.

Nicely managed BBQ restaurant. The meat was great but the BBQ sauce had more of a marinara flavor. Still good though. Great atmosphere.

So sad to have to post low stars after friends recommended this restaurant. I'm a traveler from the PNW. The best thing I ordered was the chewy praline (yum, and not gritty). The pecan pie had a standard factory crust, and the filling was just decently standard. I got Czech sausage (good), brisket (boring, more about it below), green beans (good, but Texas Roadhouse is far better), white cheddar Mac (very good) and it came with jalapeño bread (nice texture). I burped the brisket for almost 24 hours (like I do Burger King, where they paint on smoke flavoring.which brings up unflattering questions of a BBQ place's recipe). Upset belly for 18 hours+. Finally got some Tums the next day and it took 6 to get any relief. We regularly smoke meats at home (we've worn out two smokers, including a Traeger, now have a Yoder, so it's not me and BBQ). So sad to say that I will absolutely not return. Except maybe to buy chewy pralines.

Dropped in here today and had a fabulous lunch!
Brisket with bark, grilled up just right. I also had the grilled half chicken which was so good. The flavor of the pork ribs was excellent.
Brisket stuffed baked potato, jambalaya rice & green beans. Everything was fantastic and of course, I couldn't finish it all which means more yummy leftovers for later!

Jalapeño cornbread Mmm always a favorite!
Also a special note to any and all Texas eateries & restaurants.be sure to have Sweet tea to wash it all down. * (bonus points)

I have been a big fan of Goode Company for years. The food is very good and after a few bad years of Covid they are back. This is a Texas place and I like it.

It had been some time since we had stepped into a Goode Company restaurant. The staff was super helpful and friendly right off the bat. My wife and I both ordered baked potatoes that were overflowing with chopped brisket, turkey, and all the trimmings. My only complaint is that the potatoes were barely warm enough to melt the butter. Having said that, they were still delicious.

They are open at last. The brisket was very good. I asked for, as lean as possible, the gentleman did a great job. The potato salad was outstanding. The BBQ sauce tasted different than I remembered but everyone in our party liked it but me. Which is ok, as I enjoy the taste of the meat without sauce.

Goode company has consistently good barbecue options and sides. The stuffed baked potato is one of my favorites. They used to have a great salad but sadly don’t have it anymore. I love the green beans and potato salad.
