Thrift Store Goodwill reviews
16Good deals on most things, 50% off days are cool but what happened to the 75% off days tho. A few things are over priced. But over all a great value.
I love goodwill but a little disappointed how everything is overpriced.it's hard to find color deals of the store they make sure the tags are removed with different colors that on the weekly sale.no more senior and veteran discount. I understand we are in a crisis but goodwill is a charity place and it's really hard to find responsible prices.thank you in advance.but I still support them.
Very clean and organized! Probably the most organized goodwill around this area. Prices for the kids clothes cannot be beat. No matter what brand or style, kids shirts and pants are $1.99. I noticed the stuffed animals were higher priced then other stores. Usually they have moderate sized stuffed animals for 99c, but this location they were like $2-5 each. Which is outrageous for being used. As for men’s clothes, the price is definitely worth it if you find a good set of pants or slacks b/c they are about $7, but if you grab casual sweats or casual shirts it’s definitely not worth paying $7 for it used.
Just found out today, Goodwill NO LONGER gives senior discounts on Wednesday or any other day of the week. Very disappointed ️ I have to tell my senior mother this news. Goodwill has been her favorite store since it opened their doors, all of our School clothes came from there.
WAYYY too expensive. Never before have I been to a Goodwill with prices so high for obviously used and degraded items. Never coming to browse this one again. The Goodwill in the Heights, I repeat the HEIGHTS, prices things at prices that are at least half the average price of this location, and you can find brand new furniture at other locations for as low as $20. This location is a scam.
Great customer service just to mention one awesome person there was Eddie he took the time to help me even though he was pretty busy thank you! Didn't go unnoticed.
Prices are like new retail and not resale.
Some people allow their kids to skate, run and destroy the toy area.
This Goodwill has gone down hill. The store is filthy dirty and messy. They are not even keeping up with bathroom, it’s dirty, disgusting and no paper. The previous manager from last year always had the store neat and clean. Now this new management has it horrible. Then they want to be greedy and mark everything expensive. The corporate office should drop in and see how messy they have the store. I won’t be donating or shopping at this location anymore. The store has turned ridiculous.
Heyyyyy! Found my formal dining room rug at the Wilson Rd. Goodwill location. Super deal! Love it
This Goodwill select store is in a convenient location on the North Sam Houston Parkway East at Wilson Road. There is a nice large concrete parking lot with easy access in and out.
They have a large selection of men's, women's and children's clothing/accessories. They offer a 25% discount for military veterans every Wednesday.
The prices on furniture were very high considering the condition of the furniture. But I do understand why. We the people need to donate more. I forget sometimes that donations are just as important as buying from Goodwill.
Found some work pants the tag said 1.99 and the other was like 6 dollars get to the register and she was like 13.94 I showed her the tag so this don't mean nothing. I walked out and left them with her i can go to fallas and get them brand new for that price she had to not know what she doing. Oh well there loss.
Not a bad little store. If you enjoy thrifting I'd say stop by this store sometime. They had a huge inventory (huge for a goodwill that is) the the cashiers were very nice and friendly.
Love this place good prices and very clean and it smells nice when you walk in the people that work there are awesome they have great customer service my new spot to shop
You get free stuff from people that donate and then refuse to help people in need. Everything is overpriced and it’s ridiculous and sad.
NOT KID FRIENDLY! We went in with both of our boys and they were playing with a few toys like any kid would do when toys are within arms reach. Our boys were about 10 feet away from us and the cashier went on the over head speaker and stated that kids are NOT allowed to play with toys and that we need to have a hold of them. I stated that she could have told us if there was a problem because we were the only people except for one other mom and her son. It was a little unnecessary considering she was staring at me when she was talking into the speaker. I have been to other Goodwill's and was never treated like this. We will not be going back.
