Thrift Store Goodwill reviews
14Horrible place! Sold my a crockpot that was sealed with tape, got home and no bowl in the crockpot (kind of important) then tried to return and they wouldn't let me return it or give me my money back! That is just like stealing from people! Beware!
I was here on Wednesday July 7th at 6: 30pm. Why is there only on cashier for 18 people in line. The line took 30 minutes. The entire time I was in the store the line remained consistently long. In addition if something didn't have a tag it couldn't be sold. The goodwills in montrose and in the heights priced the item at the register if it didn't have a tag. As someone who loves thrift stores this one is a hard pass.
This place is very disorganized and messy, the line was also too long and they only had 2 workers at the register. It was not a good experience to shop at not just because of the un-organization but because of the relaxed mask rules and slow workers (nice just slow) as well as the high prices for a goodwill.
The selection and price is great. However, I was buying some nice slacks and khakis and the checkout lady balled them up and tossed them in a bag. Great selection but needs to respect the clothes off the hangar more.
Very strict and rude on the mask rules. My husband forgot his, a sales clerk told him to get one from the front. She then went over the loud speaker to insist ALL customers needed a mask to make OTHER customers feel safe. We left. I just wanted to quickly shop and leave the store, didn't feel a scene needed to be made.
Good selection but prices are more inflated here compared to other Goodwill locations. Cant get a pair of shoes under 8 dollars and good ones can be priced upwards to 40 dollars. There are some gems but you have to search and deal with the pricing. Staff is nice also.
I really like this Goodwill. The workers, cashiers are awesome, the store is clean and very organized. The prices are getting high though.
Great selection of used items! I discover awesome finds but you'll have to hit them on a restock day in order to get the best selections. Staff is welcoming and friendly. I enjoy finding holiday items at any time of the year. However, for being a thrift store, the prices can be rather high! One coffee mug for $3.99 is a bit steep.
Great staff and even greater cause. If you can get past the musty odor throughout the store facility, then all will be fine. There are a lot of stuff to choose from at great prices. There are some hidden gems in there if you hunt and find them. Happy shopping and donating. God bless
The girl working the register today is a complete idiot. I had 2 pairs of toddler jeans. She rang one up as a child's jacket and the other as a child's top. When I asked her what the child's jacket and top were, she looked through the bag as if she was trying to find a child's jacket and top, knowing damn good and well that's not what I purchased. Then she pulled out the jeans and said, "its these. " I was in disbelief. Are you an idiot? Clearly those are PANTS!
Over priced for used items. I also have never had an issue with drop off before, until today. The guy wanted to nitpick through my stuff and only take what he wanted. His words, “ who buys Christmas stuff in March. ” Then he pointed me towards Katy Christian Ministries. I guess that’s where I will be going next time.
Staff is AWESOME! I locked myself out of my car and needed a wire hanger to try to open the door. Store was about to close but staff hooked me up. I will always b grateful! Thank you so much for your help! It’s pretty hard finding wire hangers these days at retail stores. I don’t forget when people help me! Good karma to you both!
Clutter, less selection, and Overly Priced for a place thats supposed to have donated goods, they are making money out of old looking clothes.
