Goodwill Houston Select Stores reviews
10This place is very disorganized, unclean, and i saw a heel that the inside was all torn up. And also the cashier guy was serious and not friendly not coming here again
Well organized, and clean. Different days different coloured tags, are discounted. Good selection with ample parking. Well Good selection with ample parking. Sean’s customer service took it to the next level
This place is great for those who need it. I try to stop by here at least a couple times a year to donate and the people are always very appreciative when we drop things off. The store could be a little better organized, but I understand that they have tons of donations every day dropped off and it must be very hard to keep up with all of that. I would highly recommend looking around at home and finding anything that you don’t need and trying to donate some every year, because it can make a huge difference in someone’s life. The store is very easily located off of I-10 on the south side, and has lots of parking.
Store manger does not understand the meaning of customer service. Found an item that was clearly marked $. 29. It was nothing fancy (item was picture frame). The manager did not honor the price. She claims their machine was not working properly. Very disappointing. These items were donations and because of your error you won’t honor? Clearly you don’t know customer service!
Honestly one of the better Goodwills as far as quality donations. I never stayed in here though for more than 5 minutes until today. What I witnessed today was quite disturbing. One thing I love about Goodwill is that they employ those with special needs and I have always been a big advocate for those with special needs. However, the older Asian lady that is "seemingly" in charge of running this location displayed terrible ethics when dealing with one of the employees/volunteers. The gentleman obviously needed special attention and she blatantly and loudly disrespected this young man repeatedly in a very condescending manner to the point an idiotic patron laughed out loud at the young mans expense. It was a terrible experience. On top of that 2 older women employees were very unhelpful when I asked a question. I felt as if I was bothering them. Terrible.
I've never been inside a goodwill that was too pricey. It's like if everything is just tossed. Not going there again.
Clean and organized.seems like alot of volunteers? Its a busy store.there are 3 fitting rooms.lots of clothes.you can find a good deal if you re willing to take the time to sort through as it organized by category not by sizes
I know its in a nicer side of town but wow.they must think high of tjere leftover junk to ask almost 3 times what other goodwill do for the same junk
I have recently started visiting this Goodwill and I am so glad I did! I have bought numerous brand name items here including Athleta, Ariat boots, TopShop, Coach purses, Gianni Binni, Victoria’s Secret and the list goes on. I have bought brand new DVDs here, brand new best seller paperback books, wall art, gently used cabelas brand blankets, and ski pants. You do have to have the patience to search and the aisles are small so it can get crowded and cramped in the store. Other than the small space you have to shop in, I will say my experiences here have been great! Shop here and get great deals on name brand items.
BUYER BEWARE.
We just purchased our (second FAKE $50.used purse) from this location for the price of a used genuine designer purse. They have NICE, NEW AND SMART MANAGEMENT that know very well how much the items are worth. They also helped my wife look up the MICHAEL KORS model number on the internet to verify the original price. They were kind enough to tell us in advance that they DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS ON PURSES.
We have frequented this store for sometime and were pleased but it was quite emberrising to get bit by the same dog twice. Shame on you for taking advantage of a poor lady with 2 babies. The fake item that you sold for $50.was donated to your store and you turned around and sold it to my wife for a $50.profit. Shame on you for being dishonest and so money hungry that you would cheat the very community that donates to your business.
