Goodwill Store - I-40, Amarillo TX

I love shopping at Goodwill stores. Especially the store located at Bell Street & I-40 in Amarillo, Texas. The most important attribute that I noticed immediately upon walking into the store was that the staff worked as a unit that helped one another to succeed in helping the customers with their needs and each other to provide a healthy and enjoyable shopping and working atmosphere. It was so impacting to me in a positive way that there has not been 1 day that has passed since recognizing the commerotity amongst the staff members and their doing such a great job with their store duties and customer service, that I don't think about how wonderful that experience was for me. I share this memory with many people when I speak of Goodwill stores or any kind of employee working manners and or processes that businesses and other groups of people perform while working together.
One staff member stood out the most to me. She is a cashier lead for this particular location. Her first name is Kara. She shined with absolute caring, professionalism, dedication, honesty, and integrity for herself and everyone around her. She truly is a woman that makes a positive impression and difference for Goodwill Store I-40 fellow employees and customers. The culture of Goodwill truly is alive in this particular store. I say this because, every staff member that I've ever spoken to or who has helped me at this particular store have all shown happiness to help me and have displayed gratitude to me for shopping at Goodwill. I will always remember the wonderful experience of shopping at this store and I will continue to highly recommend this store to others. I went the other day to make a donation the man that helped me was so nice his name was Mike he helped me carry stuff he talked to me like he new me it was organized and clean on the dock keep up the good work!

Overpriced on everything, but especially entertainment media. Much prefer Abilene locations.

Some of the employees REALLY hate their job. If I walk in and see certain people behind the counter I usually don't buy anything bc they don't even read the prices. Get charged 1.99 for something that says. 49 and its happened ALOT. MAKE SURE YOU ADD UP HOW MUCH YOUR STUFF IS BC 8/10 TIMES YOURE GONNA BE OVER CHARGED.

Found all the Hawaiian shirts I could handle this time! Staff was short and kinda rude, but they were apparently overworked.

Prices are too high. Employees are beyond rude. Most glassware is either chipped, cracked or broken. Last time I was there I left a cart of over $100 and I will never go back. And I won't get into the whys since it is medical personally and they were rude about it. There are plenty of other thrift stores in this town.

Great place to take donations and they also have a great care center that is willing to help anyone that wants to learn.

Always find more than im looking for. Letting me lose in here is better for my wallet than walmart. Senior day is monday 10% off 55 or older. All goodwills are different for senior day.

This thrift store us amazing, it has so much stuff and great service, the only bad thing is that on busy days, thiers only like 2 casheirs and the lines are long, but other than that it's a great store

They have the rudest manager ever! I usually spend a lot of money at this store. She forced us (4 people) to wait in line 15 mins before closing. I was still browsing and had more than enough time to get checked out. She sighed and huffed to the point where everyone was feeing so unwelcome! Not bringing my donations here again! &;**** Good job!

Been twice, about 3 weeks apart. Cash register not working properly either time. Left without making purchase.

Shopped their several times and love the employees and management! Very clean and very friendly! Needed some questions answered from GM and she was super helpful! 5 Stars!
