Gracie Barra The Woodlands reviews
9Prof. Joel and his instructors go above and beyond to build a community, communicate and instruct. Anyone that could ever give less that 5 stars is clueless.
This gym is lead by professor Alex Morono, an active UFC fighter. Alex is an amazing teacher, both to adults and students. My son trains here and is a big fan of the coaches. The facility is top notch and they offer a lot of classes. There are so many advanced belts here, it is great for progressing and learning. The many coaches here are all great at what they do and very helpful.
Best place to train in Houston. I have been training here for almost 10 years. Coaches are very experienced and knowledgeable. Friendly atmosphere and you are treated like family. Could not say enough good things about this gym
Top tier martial arts training.
This place is my home away from home and training is my favorite part of each day.
I have been attending GBTW for over a decade now and I can say the gym culture that Janice, Alex, and the rest of the GBTW coaches have cultivated is one to be proud of. The level of both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai at GBTW speaks for itself as many of the gyms members are successful in competition in anywhere from novice to professional levels. As a gym member who travels alot for work, and trains while on the road, I can confidently and sucessfully utilize the skills I have learned from GBTW coaches and apply them wherever I may drop in to train. Iron sharpens iron, and with that said, GBTW has several black belts and other higher belts on any given training session that gladly impart their knowledge to make their teammates better.
Gracie Barra The Woodlands has changed my life for the better. First the product that they promote has positive effects on my social, emotional, and physical wellbeing. I make better sleep, nutrition and overall life choices due to the martial arts. The facility is world class and you will not find better anywhere in the city. Finally the staff who I consider family at this point is invested in me and my community. I’m not just a number I am their brother and it shows through both their words and actions. Thanks Gracie Barra for being my home away from home.
I was in Houston for work and a friend and colleague invited me to train with him at the morning class. It was an excellent class with excellent professors. This gym is very nice and clean and all the members were friendly. I had some great rolls with members and Professor Lou. I appreciate the hospitality and highly recommend anyone in the area to try this gym.
Wonderful teaching environment. Extremely family friendly. And the real deal if you got what it takes to make it in ufc. I would follow Alex into battle any day.
I participated in the free week trial, and it was amazing! Staff is very supportive and informed on the various disciplines of martial arts. Classes are fun and a great workout. The team members make beginners feel comfortable and encouraged to grow. Special shout out to Coach Alex for the support and development. If you are interested in getting involved in Martial Arts this is the place for you.
