Gracie One really is a terrific jiu jitsu academy for all ages and skill levels. I’ve been training at Gracie One for about 9 months now and love it. It’s incredibly welcoming and starts to feel like a family very quickly! The adult program draws in men and women across a range of ages, experience levels and backgrounds. Whether you are into Jiu Jitsu for self defense, a general love of martial arts and knowledge, or are an ex-wrestler looking for a way to grapple again, there is a place for you here.

My experience at Gracie One has been very welcoming. This location is full of individuals who are willing to help you grow within the art, no matter what skill level or age you may be. The staff and team have genuine care for all members. Highly recommend this location!

Awesome gym with an exceptional children's program.

Our son had been attending G1 for 6+ months and the professors run a fantastic kid's program - disciplined but fun/caring and the kids learn actual BJJ in a structured way in addition to all the other benefits that come with learning a martial art.

Gracie one Academy I can say will definitely be my home. Not only are the professors amazing and welcoming, but are very knowledgeable. They break all techniques down until it is learned. Create an amazing atmosphere as well care for true growth. Everyone there that trains are welcoming and make it extremely fun.

Our 3.5 year old son has been coming to the future champions sessions for about 5 months now. He absolutely loves coming here and looks forward to every class (and we come 4 times a week). Professors Jeff and Mason make it so fun for the kids - teaching jiu jitsu in an age appropriate manner. Not only are the kids learning self defense moves, but they are given opportunities to build their confidence! We have really enjoyed meeting the other families and seeing their kids progress through the program (from being participants, to helpers, etc). Watching our son develop new skills and have the confidence to volunteer in class has been very rewarding, as he always been more of an observer. Jeff is hilarious and makes the classes so fun for parents watching so that's an added bonus!

Excellent kids program. Our son love it and his technical skills have significantly improved in a short time. The professors (Jeff and Mason) are great with kids, consistent and build healthy mental habits. The program is so good my husband recently started in the adult program and also loves it.

I got a chance to try one of Professor Clint Bounds. Great facility, super welcoming, and very clear step- by- step instructions. Highly recommend!

I have been training bjj for four years and have visited many different gyms to cross train. My experience here was great.

I attended a class at Gracie One at the recommendation of a friend. The instant I walked in, I got a big smile from Professor Jeff welcoming me and setting me up for class.

The gym is clean, has showers and a locker room, and plenty of space around the edges of the mat.

Professors Clint and Randy gave me a warm handshake and welcome upon entering the mat space, and we proceeded upon the day’s lesson.

The other students there grabbed me right away, and invited me to drill. The energy here is a good one, and I appreciated the attention to detail with both professors offering tips to tighten my movements.

After class, I had a great conversation with professor Clint talking about each of our backgrounds and families. As I gathered my bag to go back to real world work, he made sure to let me know that I was always welcome to come back.

Sometimes it’s the small gestures that impress you the most. Here, from the walk in to the front desk and to the final steps leading out the exit, the atmosphere here is a fantastic one.

I recently started training here to get in shape over the summer and my expectations for what a workout could be were drastically exceeded. The instruction is clear and easy to follow. All the mats are very clean and the professors are extremely helpful. There is no description of skill level or experience. My experience here has been nothing but warm and welcoming. I've recently earned my second strip on my white belt and have no plans to stop training any time soon!

The recent mass shooting in Allen was about a mile from my house and I was overseas. This event opened my eyes that my family is not prepared for an event like this, so I reached out to an old friend who is an expert in handling defensive preparedness, Randy Rozzell, who happens to be a retired Navy Seal. My wife and I did the level one pistol course last Sunday with Randy. The course is great for any level of experience. I grew up with firearms, and I learned so much in this course, as I have never trained with a master. This isnt going to a range and poking paper. It is about self-defense, manuevers under stress and building confidence in your skills.

For all the people who travel and leave their families often, this is great for your spouses. Everytime my wife trains with Randy, whether it is hand to hand self defense or weapons training, she leaves empowered and confident in her ability to handle herself in a difficult situation. And I feel better about being gone.

Such a community of people! The big kids help the littler kids! They all have fun, and my 5year old loves it! Helps teach discipline and builds confidence.

The kids I watch take lessons here. The discipline and confidence they have learned in such a short period is amazing. I look forward to seeing continued growth on and off the mat.

I'd give this gym more stars if I could. I was in Dallas for 2 months and happened upon Gracie One because it was the closest gym to my hotel. Called them up one day to see if they allowed drop-ins and Professor Clint answered the phone and said to come by. You'll be hard pressed to find a more welcoming BJJ gym in my opinion. I made some good friends and found some great rolls while I was in Dallas these last 2 months. I hoped to return the favor one day if ever anyone from this gym ends up in Colorado. Thanks again, Professors Clint, Randy, and Jeff and Coaches Mason and Mario! It was more than I could have hoped for during my time in Dallas.

I joined the gym in December 2022 with no prior martial arts experience and it has been a great place to learn the fundamentals of jiu-jitsu. The instructors and fellow members have been welcoming and very informative. I highly recommend to both experienced and new people interested in joining!

Great folks. Enjoyed my time here, and will be back. They are great with beginners and make you feel comfortable. They understand that daily life gets in the way and are accommodating if you have to arrive late or leave early.

This is a special place. The instruction is detailed and practical, there's a plenty of sparring options ranging from competition-level training to more gentle/relaxed rolling, and Gracie One's culture is to uplift/improve all vs.a fight club. Worth a try!

I’ve trained a few places before and I love it here. The instructors and students do a great job of facilitating an inclusive and educational environment. All of the instructors are great and their unique styles help you learn the curriculum from multiple perspectives. Also, I came here initially for the jiu jitsu but the self defense class is seriously awesome and is worth attending. I happened to try it one day and now I make sure to attend class regularly in addition to the jiu jitsu classes. The self defense classes, like the jiu jitsu classes, are very well instructed and very practical. This gym is seriously well rounded in the classes it provides and the instructors are all great practitioners, teachers, and people. All of the aforementioned qualities lead me to train more than I ever have at other gyms because I look forward to coming to Gracie One.
