Auditorium Granada Theater reviews
17This is a great place to listen to music shows. I was in the general audience section wich is the floor in front of the stage. It is standing room only. The lights and sound is amazing. There is a bar that sells drinks. Masks were thankfully not enforced but patrons were mindful of giving other patrons their space. Drinks are a little pricey. There were trash cans available. Clean venue. Employees were readily available, should the need arise. There is an upper level but not sure if seats were available. Well lit to see where your going. Great time!
Strange venue. The audience seating is very deep, so you feel like you're very far from the stage.
Also, none of the seating is labeled, so you have to have an usher show you your seat, and then trust them that they're right
Used to like this old place. Have been going to numerous live music events over the years and eaten many times in the restaurant. Will not spend money here anymore. Would give less than one star.
I thought the theater was great! The restaurant next door was cool. Parking was easy to find. Loved The Hives.the crowd kind of left something to be desired. How the hell can you just stand STILL at a Hives concert. You people need to get out more.
Excellent staff, great sounding venue with a cool vibe. The restrooms were clean and really nice. AND they didn't skimp on the alcohol in the drinks I had! What more could you ask for?
Small story - in the middle of the concert my girlfriend needed an Advil, I asked one of the staff (he was in charge of the door I think) and he went around asking for some just to help me out. Cool guy, cool venue, can't wait to go back!
Love the Granada!
Unfortunately I ran a tab at the bar and they charged my account twice, one was a preauth that has still not dropped and we were there Saturday. No more running tabs!
Omg it was such a beautiful place and I enjoyed Big Freedia In concert. I am originally from Louisiana but live in Dallas now and I had an amazing time. This was my first time At Granada Theater and First Time seeing Big Freedia in concert. Definitely coming back again.
Luv this place! We normally eat at the sundowner before a show which is a fantastic restaurant! The atmosphere of the venue is always fun!
Great concert venue with history and charm. Good sound and sight lines. I appreciate that they checked for vaccinations and negative covid tests at the Sleigh Bells concert. It made me feel comfortable seeing live music for the first time since March 2020. Thank you Granada!
One of my favorite 'small venues'. Love attending concerts there and sending our JMAC TICKETS customer to this amazing place. Cheers!
Texas lottery Luck Happens Live brought WALEEEE, it was my first time here, no chairs downstairs but hey you should always be prepared to stand in a concert, it was way bigger inside than what it looked outside. Very clean, and the little pit at the front was veryyy close to the stage so when I finally squeezed my way in there I could dang near touch Wale?
I was there for the Social Dallas Church. I enjoyed the service the building was nice. I expected more restrooms other then 3 stalls due to the amount of people that the theater holds, but Social Dallas is amazing and the building was decent
Great concert experience. One thing that was not great was the employee greeting team. They were not very inviting. Kind of like we were inconveniencing them by showing up when the doors opened. Other than that it was a really cool experience.
It was very nice and extremely accommodating to us. We attended the Bud Bucharest Memorial. Celebration of life. Love the feeling of history in architecture. Thank you for making our day so comfortable.
Recently attended Randall King concert at this facility, quiant historic, secure, and clean. Alcohol was reasonably priced. Sound was good, passable. Light show was acceptionable. Overall, great venue, would recommend it to my friends.
The show was great but that doesn't really have much to do with the venue itself. The fact that they charged $8 for a coke back with a double on the rocks and $13 for a beer is why they are getting 2 stars and why I won't be going to another show there.
