Everyone here is so nice! I have recommended them to my co-workers because of the great/attentive service I have received here.

I’ve been a patient here for 4 years. Never needed anything more than my cleanings. I know I am in good hands when I come to Dr Sharma for all my dental care. Always great to see the same team, like Gayle, who always remembers me like I’m her best friend.

Dr Sharma and the whole office treat me like family every time I come in for my cleanings. They are so friendly and also laughing with eachother and with me. Gayle is the funniest. They referred me to a very good orthodontist too and make sure I keep wearing my retainers. They’re very good at reminding me to come in for my appointments.

The best dental office I have ever been too! Dr. Sharma is the sweetest most compassionate dentist ever. She was honest and transparent with me about everything I needed done. She also comforted me when I was nervous and scared! If I could recommend her to everyone I would. All her other colleagues are just as sweet to. You can tell it is a very family oriented dentist office and that is exactly what I was looking for! BEST DENTIST EVER!

So I am not a fan of dentists. I have avoided them and because of it my teeth are not doing well plus As someone with PTSD I really appreciated the all women team…Wow. I cannot believe I have been going to other practices that did not take the time to even know my name.
Dr. Sharma and Dr. Ashe were marvelous. The technicians and the front desk were friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone was transparent and very thorough, from the very beginning to the end. I learned so much about the health of my mouth! Thanks y’all!

I arrived hoping to find a new dentist closer to home after moving 40 minutes away from my old dentist who has practiced for over 20 years in Austin, who has hygienists that have worked for him for 17 yrs.

Though she is friendly and her office staff is actually even friendlier, she really pushes a lot of unbelievably unnecessary treatments on your very first visit.

Would anyone in their right mind actually feel comfortable with a brand new dentist telling them not only do you need a crown for these reasons, but we are ready (and are very eagerly) wanting you to get this crown done Today.

How is she not aware that this could not be one of the reddest of flags? I expect and hope she changes her for-profit business plan after reading this. Note: never try pushing first time patients to have a crown done during their very first visit, while telling staff to ready the chair, and saying "did he say yes? " or discussing patient decisions in the lobby in front of the patients and people waiting.

2nd pt.

For major work, my old dentist has Never performed major work on the very same day of diagnosis. NEVER in 5 years of seeing him. This made her seem not busy or booked at all, to suddenly have plenty of free time to perform a $1,000 crown on the very same day as diagnosis?

Why even ask current or new clients to have Major work done on the same day of diagnosis? How is this approach supposed to make patients feel she actually cares about them and not their bank account? Some people actually appreciate having time to look at their finances and see how they can afford the major work that she has chosen to diagnose as 100% "necessary" for their dental health.

Final pt.

Here's how the Out Of Pocket costs differ between my very first visit with Dr. Sharma, and my visit with the older dentist who has been practicing for over 20 years

$2,127.00 (after the $1,000 insurance max)
vs.
$50.00

My north Austin dentist visit went like this:
Note, he has practiced in Austin for over 20 yrs

normal preventative cleaning,
continued notes on which areas they will keep monitoring
ZERO recommendations in his professional opinion for any other work at this time. No cavities that actually needed work, no talk of a crown at all.

Why are these professional opinions from both very experienced dentists so drastically different? How is that even possible.

Why is another dentist who's been practicing for over 20 years in North Austin, why is His professional opinion $3,000 less than your professional opinion of what is 100% needed for my dental health?

When I move to Kyle, TX eventually, I will be going with my high school friend's recommendation to see Broberg, without hesitation. I cannot comfortably return to see you Dr. Sharma after you:

1.formed a $3,000 professional opinion of what my dental health needs that ended up being unbelievably unneccessary relative to the work my old dentist said was needed based on his 20 years of experience and continuing education.

2.tried to have major work completed on the very same day as the diagnosis, as well as within my very first visit to your office, how do these action decisions of yours help to create the best first impression, and to make new and current patients feel like they are truly being cared for? It came off as a Sales pitch.

3.why do you discuss anything at all about patient decisions at the front desk which had one person waiting? And in front of the patient as well. I have never seen this behavior from a professional dentist!

Maybe when she was younger, and to all of her current and loyal clients, she is a great dentist. As another review said well, when she's not having a great day, it is as if she is taking it out on either the patient and/or her staff. Multiple reviews state this.

I pray she doesn't yell at her staff after reading this, they were the kindest and coolest part of the experience, truly.

I've been going to Grand Oaks Dentistry for a little over two years now. Absolutely yes, would recommend. Everyone is friendly, the space is clean, and they send excellent follow up care instructions by email (or they can print you information you need at the office).

Admittedly, I don't love getting teeth cleanings or the occasional filling etc. But the GO team is very efficient with reminders, flexibility in scheduling, and the dental work itself.

Dr. Sharma and her staff are incredible. They are all kind, compassionate, and honest. After a recent horrific experience at another dentistry who claimed I need $5000 worth of treatments and work done, Dr. Sharma assured me that was not the case. All I needed was one cavity re done due to its age. Love this dentistry.

As a woman, there's something deeply nourishing about being treated by an entire staff of women. Every interaction at Grand Oaks Dentistry, from the front desk and administration, to the dental techs, and the dentists themselves, is positive, efficient, and worthwhile. If you're looking for a dentist, I highly recommend. (Even if you aren't a lady!)

Had my first appointment here today and I could not be happier about how it went. The two assistants who brought me in were awesome and spoke to me like a friend. A lot of fun, casual conversations made the experience feel much easier. And Dr. Sharna explains everything to you to help you understand what’s going on. You can tell she wants to ensure you’re satisfied and healthy
