Grape Creek Vineyards, Fredericksburg TX

We did a Jen blossom tasting and the wine was fabulous and so was our hostess Eve- request Eve for a fabulous tasting!

Eve, our Tasting Ambassador, was fantastic. She is very knowledgable, explained the wines very clearly, and most of all she is so enthusiastic and really love what she does. And it shows.

Visited the storefront on Main St! We had a fantastic experience with Floy. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, fun, totally got into our girl party! We had several tastings to accommodate each of our taste and preferences! The store was beautiful and the all the staff were super friendly and had great suggestions! Some bought single bottles there and some of us joined the club and can't wait to receive our first shipments! My favorite was the Cuvee Blanc! A wonderful light refreshing white! Perfect for a hot summer afternoon! I highly recommend a "stop by" this delightful winery.

Laurie Mayfield gave us the best experience for the wine tour ever! My best friend was visiting from out of state and she made us feel like we were right at home! Great wine, great stories, great memories. Thanks Laurie Mayfield! Would recommend to anyone I know!

Kim and Eve always treat me with the utmost respect and is always a pleasure to be around them! Been a Grape Creek member since 2016 and am now a new member of their new winery, Invention Vineyards.

I had come to this vineyard a few years ago and was looking forward to stopping by when I was in town this weekend. The man at the host stand greeted us and asked how he could help. I said we don’t have a tasting reservation but just wanted to drop in and have a glass of wine. That’s when his “smile” pretty much turned into a grimace and he proceeded to say, “I mean you can go in and look at the merchandise, but that area is really only for members. ” Oh okay. We turned, looked at the restaurant and then asked him, “Can we get a table at the restaurant and order something over there? ” Again, with that grimace look on his face (failing miserably to hide it with a “smile”), “The restaurant is for members. ” OH. WOW. What an awful atmosphere this vineyard has become. I don’t have a problem with places offering a membership to have extra perks, but to be so exclusive and basically shun out of town guests from visiting your place at all is completely appalling.

Floy was so knowledgeable and I loved how easy and relaxed the tasting was. They saw us right away on a Sunday afternoon.

What an amazing place to try great wines! Eve made our tasting memorable and we walked away with a membership!

Had the best experience with Laurie Mayfield! She made us feel at home and answered all of our questions with ease! I would recommend Laurie to anyone looking to book a tour here!
