Grateful Threads Custom Upholstery, Austin TX

My motorcycle came with a low seat height, which seems to be quite common, although I don’t know what the fascination is with sitting so low unless your foot pegs are quite forward.

Anyway, I had Chris raise my seat by two inches to be level with the rear seat by adding foam and a layer of gel. The seat looks fantastic and, as Chris did tell me up front, it is significantly more comfortable.

Chris did a great job on my party bus seating. Walked through my vision and he took it from there. I’ve shown it to numerous people and their first reaction is how nice and luxurious the seating looks. Wouldn’t hesitate to comeback again and highly recommend to others.

We had Chris replace the old headliner on two of our cars. Both came out looking amazing and basically brand new. He also finished both promptly and even a day early, so I could see it before a trip. Great guy and would recommend Grateful Threads to anyone.

Took my 2006 Jeep LJ to Chris to have the front & rear seats reupholstered and to get the rotting foam repaired. Also created a new roll cage cover which fits and looks factory (extended the Bestop aftermarket roll cage cover to). Chris let me take home sample booklets multiple times and worked with me for many weeks before I finally decided on specific materials and colors. Once I made my decisions, Chris knocked out the work pretty quickly.

Very happy with the final results, would come back again without question, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for custom upholstery work.

Chris and the team at Grateful Threads did an excellent job reupholstering the front seats from my ‘79 Toyota. The craftsmanship and quality is excellent! I will definitely return if I need any work done in the future.

Super easy to work with. After choosing the materials and waiting for them to arrive the job itself was done in 24hrs. I run a bar downtown and he helped me reupholster the arm rest that guest use. Would recommend.
