Gray School of Music reviews
20Only been going for a couple of months now but already very happy with the experience. Cherry has been amazing, always supportive but ready to ensure I don't slack off. Gray School is a lovely facility and is responsive in their customer support.
My daughter has taken piano lessons with Mrs. Vicki Gray at the Gray School of Music for 3 years. Mrs. Gray is an outstanding piano teacher! She teaches with patience, passion and enthusiasm! As a former piano student, I am very impressed with how quickly my daughter has advanced over the past 3 years. The facility is very clean and organized, containing many individual rooms for various types of music instruction and a large performance room. After Covid shut down the world in March, I was worried about if or how my daughter's lessons would continue. Luckily, Mrs. Gray made a seamless transition to Zoom music lessons! I look forward to resuming in person lessons at this AWESOME school as soon as possible. But, in the meantime, I am grateful to Mrs. Gray for finding a way to keep music in our life!
The teachers here are very nice and professional. Students learn how to play as well as music theory.
I've taken weekly violin lessons at Gray's for a little over 18 months now. The prices are reasonable and the teachers are excellent. I took lessons elsewhere before coming to Gray's - as an adult student picking up an instrument later in life, believe me when I say the progress I've made over the last year and a half is well worth the money.
Jackson Eli is the best guitar teacher- I went through 4 others before finding the Gray School. Even though we have had to use Zoom during the pandemic I am still making good progress. I couldn’t be happier.
Our kids take guitar and ukulele lessons with Jackson Eli at the school and he has been great! They have really enjoyed learning their instruments and are getting better every week. Jackson has a nice balance of making it fun for them but also taking it seriously such that they practice and improve. Highly recommended!
Wonderful music school. My son started taking piano lessons at age 4 and has been here for 2 years. He has learned so much here in the past 2 years and loves his piano lessons!
My daughter recently started violin lessons at Gray School of Music. We are enjoying our weekly lessons with Will Estes and look forward to continuing.
My 7 year old daughter has been taking piano lessons with Marissa since January and it blows me away how much she has learned in that short amount of time! Great music school with solid teachers.
My son goes to Gray School of Music. He takes guitar lesoons and he loves it Jackson Eli is awesome. We will add piano soon.
NOT GOOD. The instructor I was given for guitar was incredibly unprofessional and when I tried to end lessons, they hit me with slew of fees that was not mentioned at any point before then. Would not recommend.
I just joined this school about a month ago, so far I am really happy.as the first week I was already learning things that I hadn’t learned from my old school.they have a real good teaching of what I’m wanting to learn which is classical guitar.i was impressed with the direction Daniel took me in from day 1. Im glad I made the change now and look forward to many lessons ahead. Jesse Valadez
Excellent music school! They take even very young children, my daughter started taking piano lessons when she wasn't even 4y/o. Very happy with the teacher and general organization, communications, etc.
We've observed excellent, skilled, caring teachers to shepherd through our two sons (8,10yo) through their introduction to piano.
Love the teachers and the school. Highly recommend to any parents looking for a great place for kids to learn.
The school makes learning music fun and joyful while still teaching sound fundamentals and basics. Vicki is very responsive to parents and families and strives to find the right fit with teacher/student. Administration is very organized! My son has been at Gray School of Music for 5 years and loves it!
I would give 6 stars out of 5 if that was the option available to me. This is a great place to learn music. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced musician, Gray School has everything you need. Very professionally managed and highly qualified and talented teachers. They conduct recitals and coffee houses frequently to encourage students to perform in front of audience. I would also mention that Gray School has very good program for Adult students who want to learn music from beginning or continue from where they left off few years ago.
I'm an adult who has taken piano lessons at Grays for 16 years. After consulting with me about my piano goals and learning style, the owner recommended Rinna Saun to be my instructor. I have grown from an intermediate to advance pianist and play all types of music of my choice. I learn 25 plus songs a year in which Rinna initially plays to help my auditory learning style. She will modify the piece as necessary for my arthretic fingers. I practice an hour a day and feel confident playing almost anything. Grays studio is very professional and I value our long turn relationship.
65 year old pianist
Vicki Gray has given all three of my children exceptional piano instruction for years. We are so grateful for a place that teaches with excellence and also cares about the children who attend. We love the Gray School of Music!
Both of my children have been taking music lessons at Gray since they were very young. Vicki Gray and her team are warm and professional. They are also incredibly understanding about the demands of homework and other activities and believe in balance. My son is entering high school now and my daughter, middle school. Can't imagine not having Vicki and the Gray School in our lives. Learning music with them has been such a gift. The kids love going to their lessons because the instructors "get it" and simply want the kids to keep coming back. The kids are both great math students - which I attribute to the (almost) lifetime with music instruction at Gray. Grateful for Gray!
