Great Clips, San Antonio TX

Linda asked me what kind of haircut I wanted and after I explained that I wanted a fade she felt the need to tell me that if I'm picky about the fade, or if I'm looking for an even blend on the fade (meaning no hard lines or a clean cut) to go somewhere else. I was completely shocked that she would push a client out the door and recommend a competitor. I asked why she would try and discourage me from ever giving super cuts my business ever again and she said that she's just being honest and doesn't want me "complaining" about the haircut in the end. At that point I just heard enough and decided that I would never recommend nor give my business to great clips ever again. I don't know why they even hired her. Smh

The person who give my hair cut didn't cover me all the way, so hair was all over me and she didn't ask what I wanted, so I came out not what I wanted

I went I took my grandsons and they were nice and knows how to do there job, I am happy with that way my grandsons look, very handsomes

Tried to show stylist a picture and told her to keep the length on my husbands hair. Just wanted it trimmed and styled. She didn’t pay attention to anything we said or showed her. Just looked at the slip of paper and asked if it was the same as last time. We said yes. She even showed us the length to confirm. We said yes. She then buzzed it all off except for a combover on top which was NOT what had been discussed. I even reminded her to leave the length but she kept going shorter and shorter and shorter. Not professional at all! Never returning!

Good service n now that I got my husband hair cut style n numbers right the girl who cuts his hair does good job n right way

The workers are certified and know what they are doing. Always worth using the online check in to beat the rushes and reserve a time for you. During the week is the best time to walk in and get a haircut. I've been going here for about 2-3 years, I haven't been disappointed.

Horrible experience, went to get my sons hair cut and the lady opened is hair and saw white flakes and said he had lice.if she would of actually looked she would of seen he had patches of dandruff.how embarrassing for him and the lady was wrong, and didnt even apologize. We went somewhere else and got better service. We will never return to this place where the people are incompetent.

Place was fast if you pre check in. If your getting your kids hair cut make sure to stay on top of stylist. They tend to rush and forget to clean up the cuts. 11 bucks a cut plus a 3 dollar off for next visit.

Waste of time waited for over 40 minutes just to get asked to be skipped when I was already seated to start getting my haircut by someone else that came back to get his haircut fixed. Horrible Customer Service

Its was Alsome.sign in ahead.got there. Wait a minute then I was call they were very busy but I got an excellent haircut. Thank you ladies for a great haircut

Did not enjoy my experience, the stylist did not pay attention when I gave her instructions on how to cut my hair, great clips needs more experience stylist, and who listen to there customers.

Great Clips on Potranco is the best! It's most popular because everyone there can cut on point. It's worth the wait.

Talk to much while cutting hair (to other hair stylist not to me) can not listen to hair cutting style I wanted I've been here multiple times in 2 months now I will not return.
You cant really know what you'll get some time the good ones are there sometimes they aren't either way it makes it feel like a hassle to get a haircut or choose a style!

It was a horrible experience. They cut my hair all uneven.one side higher than the other.my bottom back of my neck I had to tell him to cut it and above the sideburns on both sides there was left hairs also. I left completely unsatisfied customer.

Love this place. I go every 1 or 2 months to get a trim. Friendly staff. They only do style and hair cuts. They don't do hair coloring.

If i could give this no stars i would. Today was the worst service i have ever had a great clips and usually i come here for the good prices and they use to have good stylist.
As i walked in i wasn't even greeted. I walk to the front desk and ask if i could get the name of the previous woman who had cut my sons hair before.she ask for my number and as im giving it to her she is not even paying attention.she ask me to hold on and to repeat it again. So i do and i blew that off she ask if the hair cut was for my sons.i said yes and she automatically refuses to cut because she doesn't do kids that move in a rude tone.so i just had my oldest done.because he is very good in the chair.i just got bad vibes during the whole experience and at the end was what crossed the line.i swipe my card and go to sign the receipt which i didn't even get a copy of i signed for zero as a tip because i just didn't like the service.and i usually tip $5 or more she continues to say "oh thank you (sarcastically) people dont tip around here do they. THAT WAS CROSSING THE LINE! You have the nerve to say that tome in front of my sons.i replied by just telling her you know what GOD BLESS and we left never again will we ever come back and i dont recommend this store to any one child or adult. P. S.just because it is the NW side of town doesn't mean people dont tip. Everyone is suffering right now and it was very wrong for this older woman to pass judgement.also have to take my son to get his hair fixed because it was patchy.

You pretty much just have to hope for the best lol sometimes you get a good haircut sometimes they suck! This place hires people straight out of the schools and they mess people’s hair up all the time luckily I’ve had a few girls that can cut hair

They messed up my boys hair. My boys haircuts are easy. 1 on the side, trim on top and blend. This should be a haircut all stylists can do. I will never go there again.

I recently came back into this location and had myself and grandson hair cuts. The ladies here were very welcoming, seems to be a new team of stylists. I have been coming here for 4 years and there is only a few faces I recognized, but they were all friendly upon walking in. Online check in was great! We were seen right away. New and improved! I was told this location has a new owner! Great to finally have more stylists available! We will continue coming here! Thank you ladies, we both LOVED our haircuts!
