Great Clips, San Antonio TX

I've been coming here a while now and have had my hair cut by multiple stylists. They have all done a great job and I am always happy with their work.

I've lived in San Antonio for 17 months. I've been to more than few barbershops. All of them want to gouge your eyes out for the cost of a simple military fade. After 24 years in the USMC I have several pictures of the haircut that I'm looking for since no one
I've gone to seems to understand what a military fade is in a city with 5 military bases. Until today. Renae did a an outstanding job. I'd gotten so use to there being something wrong with my cut that I kept looking in the mirror. I'll definitely be back and requesting her.

Ladies are very nice, take their time with you, they greet every customer that walks in, very polite with the phone customers.

The lady called out my name in 1 second I was I up next but the fat
$%, & girl skipped me she said she called out my name but I stood upto be next and she ended up calling the next person soo I took my business elsewhere.

Best great clips in San Antonio. Everyone there is so welcoming. My stylist new exactly what I wanted and I walked out looking fresh af. Highly recommend Abby she is a great stylist. I was out in a timely manner. Thank you

I came here several times when I was living in the area. I highly recommend coming to this Great Clip's. I always got a regular man's haircut (essentially a crewcut) and the haircut was always cut to my liking and specifications. In all honesty, I get simple haircuts and nothing fancy. The barbers and staff were always nice and helpful. I remember once I needed water and the barber got some for me. The price is really cheap too compared to other barber shops. At the time, I paid maybe $10-$11 for a man's haircut, but time's may have changed and the price is most likely higher. There's a good amount of parking and it's right next to a Walmart and other places to eat. I definitely recommend coming here!

Loved my stylist Arlene, she knew what I wanted and I love my hair. I felt comfortable having her do my hair. I recommend going to Arlene and great clips very clean and friendly service.

I have been to this location a few times but primarily go to others. I signed in online and when I came in they were a little packed and cashing out someone, so I sat down. Then the lady standing off to the side voiced her concerns over a cut her daughter received and they took care of her with what I feel was good customer service. Meanwhile I continued to wait with no acknowledgement. This other guy walked in much later after me and they immediately acknowledged him and his name was below mine on the screen, that's when they finally acknowledged me and said they would be right with me after walking to the back. The stylist dealing with the retrim appeared, looked me in the eye, then turned to the other guy and took him. Several minutes later someone finally emerged to cut my hair. I explained what I wanted and she partially delivered but the part that bothered me was during the cut somebody walked in and she stopped cutting my hair to go over and help them. She seemed like she was trying to rush me out of there. Now I don't know if she was giving me some kind of discount on purpose to be nice or for the inconvenience, which if she explained that would have helped, but the discount tacked on was a senior discount and I'm at least 30 years away from being considered a senior. I still tipped her but don't think I will ever go back to this location.

Could not sign in online because it was two minutes past 5: 30 (30 minutes to closing). I figured, alright just go walk in since there was still 30 minutes left. The person attending gave me an ugly attitude saying I should have signed in online. I explained the system did not let me sign in online. There was no one else waiting to get a haircut yet they refused to cut my hair since they claimed they had to wait for those on the “online queue”. This person even tried to lie saying “see here they come now”. It’s funny, no one else came in and I left without a haircut. By the time the attendant finished arguing with me they could have just cut my hair and be done. Pity, they missed out on the big tip I was prepared to give. Anyway that’s the last time I go to any great clips. Lmao I went down the street to support a local business.

Daisy is the best stylist I've ever come across. Talk about great customer service she has it down 100% I've been to many locations through many stylists but hands down she takes the title!

I think her name was Julia. Lady with the big nice hair. I went in for a trim. And she did just that. I have thinning hair that doesn't grow. So hopefully with regular cuts it gets healthier.

I liked the haircut I got, the lady was very nice to me, I didn't catch her name but she mentioned her two-year anniversary cutting hair at that location. She was very good and patient as well. I would recommend this location but save your spot online, it gets filled up fast. They are very busy.

Great clean friendly, super busy location. All the ladies work hard and still smile even tho they literally are busy and have lots of patience with a few rude customers. Not there fault for wait times it just gets super packed with on line appointments and walk-ins.

I've used this place once before not bad. But today I went and not only are they closing early they have signage on door saying 'WALK RIGHT IN' so I came yesterday too, CLOSED! OK, today I was asked if I signed up online NO! If you would have a sign up yesterday stating that is a preferred method for a guaranteed spot, then so be it. But nothing instead there's a sign saying they are closing at 6 due to limited employees. Ok understandable PANDEMIC, PANDEMIC, PANDEMIC WTHeck, a total waste of time. Since they were booked for the day.
