Great Northwest Recycling, San Antonio TX

Delilah is a wonderful employee, and so professional and a great representative for this company. She deserves a raise. Especially since she is your "Cover girl" on your website! That is one big banner~She is always so helpful when I bring things to recycle.

This place is a joke. Aside from them paying very little, they pay you in a check. Waste of time for 15 dollars. What a bunch of crooks. I hope the check don't bounce.

They work very hard 6 days a week it always there safe place clean for scrap yard.

Has to be the cleanest recycling center in all of San Antonio! Concrete is located everywhere. Not muddy like other places. Employees are super friendly and helpful. Really eager to help.
So friendly, Makes you feel great about recycling and it doesn’t hurt that you make a little money doing it lol. Will definitely come here more and have already forgotten about the others

Been bringing my cable and internet cords for years. The staff is amazing and friendly! Recycling is not just great for our environment but THE PRICES ARE FAIR in the recycling business. They will have my business forever!

I have been doing business with these guys for years. I am a contractor and my rep. Brian has always done what he has promised. They come to my office at times and pick up my heavy boxes of recyclables and leave empty boxes for the new stuff. The girls in the front office are always kind and get me out fast. Their location is great and I highly recommend them.

Worst place to work if you're a family person. They talk you out the benefits so you choose the lowest premium so they dont have to pay more now we have plan we have to pay more out of pocket expenses. They give advancement to employees and deduct from next check so the employee doesn't have to pay child support because they deduct the advancements first leaving no money for child support office to take out. And their employees smoke as well. I have pictures. This probably why they are cheap to pay out for something more than pennies.

I have been recycling here for at least 5 years and i have always had a great experience. I recycle four different metals and the employees always help me unload my truck and the staff is very friendly and the prices for my recyclables are great. I will always use northwest recycling for my recycling needs.

Our company has been recycling metal for quite a few years now and GNW has always beat or matched the prices that I have ever been able find in San Antonio. Honest, quick, and a safe environment that I would recommend to anyone that wants a fair deal without wasting too much time shopping.

Several hundred pounds of Aluminum reduced to a penny over tin because there was alloy and steel and some iron bolts attached. Take it or Leave it attitude for sure. It had Steel attached so two and half cents it was. I can be thankful there were not tin inside otherwise it would have been one and half cents per pound.

This place is awesome when you need a help and hand short on cash Hello. This is the spot to go! This employee there helped me get a bin off my truck she send me to the right area for cans and tin. Then other employees helped hands on for me thanks guys keep up the Great Job. A while back I came in to bring in stuff and an employee helped me out boy oh boy he smelled like alcohol bad in his breath I don't understand what kind of business this is but I'm having more than just a second thought this dark guy still is there too

My wife and I came here to recycle after our move to SAN ANTONIO. The staff were friendly and professional. The even helped us unload our boxes. We appreciate all of you, your hard work and dedication to recycling.

Some days they have customer appreciation days and give free hot dogs chips and a drink, not much but it's always a good sign to see businesses make an effort to show and give something back to there customers.

Went to cash in my mother boards & the following items on this list shown! They scammed me out of a few dollars on the item low grade aluminum at a nickle a pound, they were paying a nickle a pound for 7 pounds =. 35¢. I'm really disappointed with GNW Recycling I bust my knuckles my arms are hurting from taking the items appart and only receiving a nickle a pound for top rated aluminum & other top value items. I believe I'm going to take my items elsewhere to sell, exspecially the Golden items.

It was a better experience for my visit at GNW Recycling Center!
I took my 2 bags of cat food cans & received a $1.75 as I walked back out to the vehicle that I was driving the General Manager approached me! Not with guns or tanks, or raging praises! But with a Compassionate Character. He brought to my attention of my prior experience at GNW Recycling Center with understanding knowledge. He explained to me to have a successful company & service we should have an understanding how things operate.
So out of his busy schedule he utilized his time with my time to show me, refresh my understanding with the process of profiting from metal recycling at GNW Recyclers, also gave me a brief Understanding of the employees at GNW Recycling Center, which I have come to know those who have diligence to care & be there to help with the items I'm delivering. You see the General Manager didn't have to do what he did. To give more understanding to me and to keep me in service of Recycling. You see before I ever went to GNW Recycling Center on March 27,2018 I prayed a prayer in God' ever presence and asked that HE give to me what I worked diligently for. So when I visited GNW Recycling Center HE sent the General Manager out to increase the Understanding about how to care more for those who care about what we do in our service to others. This Day I give to GNW Recycling Center.
