Greater Houston Orthodontics: Memorial Location

I've had a wonderful experience pre and post orthognathic surgery with Dr. Ioannou and Dr. Mehr, their lovely hygienist, Luisa and their office/receptionist staff. Not only were they working hand-in-hand with my Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Gonzalez, they were always willing to help accommodate my international schedule. I'm so grateful to have such genuine professionals under my care and for the radical and life changing improvements. Thank you kindly and graciously for all that you've done!

BEWARE! With this place, Greater Houston Orthodontics have no idea what they are doing with your teeth.if you love your teeth don't go to this place. I don't know how they are still open. I think The positive reviews on this site must have been written by family and friends.

just an update, after a couple months of posting this review, I noticed that my appointments would be spaced out longer than they should have due to a lack of appointment times. My braces were supposed to be removed in october, however they said that the next available appointment to remove them will not be until december. I also noticed that during my treatment, my bottom front teeth are now slightly unevenly aligned and my top teeth are hitting the brackets when I bite down. Once they even paired me with a different orthodontist during my appointment which I believe further delayed the removal of the braces. I wish that the orthodontists would explain what changes they were making to my braces each appointment because it feels as though they are talking like i’m not even there. I am switching to the bellaire location and hopefully I have better luck there.

The orthodontists are fine but the office has limited scheduling availability during the times that most students can come. The braces were on an extra 6-10 months because scheduling was such a problem for both of my kids. If it wasn't for the location, I would not use them again

We have loved coming to this office! They are timely in seeing you and have great attitudes! Two of my three kiddos come here and we love it.

These orthodontists have done a beautiful job caring for my child's teeth! So easy to schedule, appointment experience is pleasant, and everything went to plan! Thank you so much for a great tween smile!

We had a wonderful experience here at Greater Houston Orthodontics! From the orthodontist to the assistants and staff, everyone was highly skilled in what they do, and offered explanations along the way to make us feel comfortable. I highly recommend their service if you have orthodontic work to be done.

My three daughters had a wonderful experience here. I decided to improve my smile too and am amazed at the improvement with Invisalign which I did not think was possible.
The staff are all really great here. There’s always a really nice atmosphere. The doctors are very friendly and determined to get the best result possible. All the staff are super helpful. Booking and changing appointments has always been fast and convenient.

The customer service here is great! I was informed of this place by a mom friend and when I called I had a very lengthy story considering my son has a slightly difficult case and Mayeeda spoke very kindly and informed me of just how great Dr. Davoody and Mehr are and she explained the process to transfer which eased my nerves about the whole thing! I will be calling to set up a consultation as soon as we are in town! Looking forward to having my son as a patient here solely for the kind staff!

My son has had braces far longer than he should. He was suppose to finally get them off today after going on 3 years and they added more and gave him a good luck maybe by the end of the year. I don’t know how this place has 5 stars. I can’t get them to complete the task they were hired for. Why tell a kid they are finally getting them removed and not. I hate hate these people. Zero stars is more appropriate. Try anywhere else.

My experience with Greater Houston Orthodontics was so amazing. They are so professional and understanding with kids. The caring experience made it easy for my son who hate going to the dentist. The last two year was very much needed for Christian. Now his smile is amazing. First day on and first day off.

Incredible customer service and hospitality here. I got my braces removed today and the assistant ana and Dr. Ioannou did and amazing job. From the start of my brace’s journey till the end the faculty has been great I recommend this orthodontist office to anyone that’s looking for an office that feel like home!

My journey started with Greater Houston Orthodontics Memorial Office when I was forced to look for a new orthodontist in December of 2019, when the firm where I was starting to receive my orthodontic treatment unexpectedly sends me a john dear letter and said they were shutting down their business permanently.

I was very disappointed and upset, it turned out to be the best thing that happened to me, for I would have never met the Greater Houston Team. I found an online article by Bill Spencer of KPRC about how Greater Houston helped a little girl get her smile back after many doctors turned her down because of the complexity of her case.

I immediately booked an appointment and the rest is history, as of Jan 13,2023 I have straight teeth and have regained my confidence in smiling! Big shout out to the world-class artisan and Olympian that made it possible Dr. Ioannou and my favorite assistant Ana who is very professional and focused.

To anyone in need of orthodontic services, look no further Greater Houston is the best choice.

I was referred here by a friend and now I’ve been coming here for a few years now and the service and professionalism is top notch. I highly recommend this place to anyone. I want to say thank you to Ana and the stay for always taking care of me.
