Greedy's, DeSoto TX

A friend recommended checking on Greedy’s so we stopped in on Friday night and had a truly wonderful time! The music/DJ was out of this world! I heard songs that I hadn’t heard in years, songs that took me back! They have a great happy hour special on drinks until 9pm which is really cool. The drinks are good too, they don’t short you! The food is out of this world good! I had the catfish, and it quite possibly might have been the best catfish I’ve ever had, it was fried to perfection, seasoned well, and the portion was huge (2 big fillets)! I definitely got my money worth! I would definitely recommend getting here early because they fill up quickly! The service was good, my only issue was that there only appeared to be one server/waitress taking care of the floor area, this wasn’t a problem at first, but as they got busier, she came around less and less, and at much longer intervals, and she begin forgetting to bring drinks out (toward the end of the evening I was waiting like 20 minutes for a drink) towards the end of happy hour it was almost impossible to get a drink so I had to wait till it had ended before I could order again. Nothing that would keep me from coming back (I will definitely be back again), but a few more waiters/waitresses would help. I have to say the security guy at the door patting people down as they come in is super cool! He was personable and he actually walks around from table to table making sure everyone is good! It’s the little things that make a difference. I would absolutely recommend checking out Greedy’s if you are in the area!

The place now seems to be a little rundown. The floors and bar area could use a little bit of cleaning. Most restaurants arw going a staff shortage which has made cleaning not an important issue.
This place has so much to offer with a little love and investment. The restrooms are barely clean but they work.

Now this is a very nice hangout spot for Happy Hour. The beer selection is limited but there are many cocktail options. The staff is friendly and the owner occasionally shows up for a meet and greet.

The food is regular bar fare.but their wings are very popular!

There is also a certain ambiance that the regular crowd brings here especially between 4p-8p. It becomes vibey!

Service is HORRIBLE! Went for a birthday celebration & the waitress took 30-40 minutes to take our order, then we had to wait almost an hour for our drinks. Couldn’t go to the bar because it Was crowded and a long line. First & last.

No waitresses. They wanted us to go up to the bar to order our food…Don’t even waste your time just go down the street to ANYWHERE else.

So I came today which is Wednesday, came during Happy hour, I bought a crown apple with pineapple juice the first one was giving, So me and my Bestfriend wanted to get a drink and a shot the bright girl with the high booty and glasses made us wait 15 minutes at the bar that past happy hour, then finally came and got our order she made our crown apple and pineapple drinks with 2.50 worth or ice and a communion shot of crown apple and 3 shots of pineapple juice, that drink went fast because she waited the ice had melted and the drink wasn't giving, I'm mad because I spent damn near 60 and still looking like, I'm over it

Went on my birthday and the waiter and food was trash.waited an hr for my waiter to never show up.had to order at the bar and then my food was cold when it came. The only reason I enjoyed myself cause my family was buying me shots and drinks.other than that service is terrible

I really want this establishment to last! But, they make it so hard to patronize here.

Here’s some quick feedback and important feedback —YOUR LADIES RESTROOM IS IN DIRE NEED of a deep cleaning, restoration and attending to. I don’t even feel comfortable eating or drinking at food establishments that would allow things to get that bad. Does staff use this restroom?

Is this acceptable to you all? Is there a manager on duty? If so, why are things so mismanaged? Beyond the obvious wait times, inconsistency in service, and bad customer service — the cleanliness of this establishment is very concerning.

DO BETTER! So that your customers can support you and spread the positive news about what you are doing. I would be embarrassed to bring anyone here or recommend you guys until you make some serious progress.

I didn’t have a bad experience as previous posters. The food came right out and they had a menu/QR Code to scan. The wings and fries were good and the drinks were damn good and very STRONG

Nice vibe! Me and my boyfriend went on a Wednesday night for happy hour. If you want seating get there a little early. Nice crowd mature vibe. Wings are a nice size they're okay as far as the taste. I will go again

Happy hour is the best (check the website for days and times) Ask for CoCo if she is working she was polite and tentative to our needs. Drinks are strong and the catfish plate is on point. They also have good music and plenty of TV's for your entertainment.

I’ve been to the Greedy’s in Arlington before and I had such an enjoyable time. I went to celebrate a friend’s birthday, which was the same reason I was going to the location in Desoto. This experience at this location takes the cake baby! First off, the ladies room was not attended to and a stall door was missing, that’s the first thing I notice because I wash my hands as soon as I enter the establishment. (I should have just left then, but I didn’t) We seated ourselves and waited for a waiter/ waitress to come over and after 25 mins of waiting it never happened. We actually had to flag down a waitress to find out that there was only 2 of them working at the time (happy hour 4-9 and we got there at 6: 30). She then proceeded to tell us as soon as she finishes with one of her tables she’ll come over and we NEVER seen her for the rest of the night. Needless to say my friend went to the bar to order our drinks and food. The drinks were actually good, but we ordered our food at 7: 15 (10 pcs wing’s and cheese sticks) I watched now 4 waitresses drop food off at other tables all night. I continue to wait for my food that I received at 9: 30 (wings only). I continue to ask the waitress and bartender/manager about my cheese sticks and they keep saying they’re on the way and I NEVER received them and I just went home (no refund). My friend texts me after I made it home (28 min drive) and says oh they finally brought your cheese sticks. I rather you say to me we are completely short staffed and the wait time for the food can be extremely long, that allows me to decide if I want to stay or go, common courtesy. I will not be returning and will not refer anyone to this location. No I didn’t read the reviews either due to I was going to celebrate someone birthday that had been there before and her experience was good.

Food and music always great! They have sports playing at all times so if you wanna just go and chill and watch a game I would recommend. But I would also recommend it if you wanna come and dance the night away!

Worst experience as a first time customer! On today October 4,2023 the entire bar staff lacks customer service and just poor quality of bartenders! Please do better and hire more experienced bartenders! No food menu nor QR code to scan to look at the menu

A good place to meet family and friends for a visit and the food and atmosphere is really good.

Came in after work for a drink and there was nowhere to sit! Fortunately I found coco, the amazing server that not only found me a seat, she’s also aware of the menu and recommended I try the lemon drop. They had bogo apps, the chicken eggrolls were yummy but the corn nuggets were prefect.
