The good: The Front Desk staff at this dentistry has consistently been helpful. My recent visits have been scheduled and handled by Sheena, who was professional, kind and understanding. My regular cleaning appointments have always commenced on time and the hygienists are quick and mostly efficient. The office is clean and cared for- they’ve began to replace some of the outdated lobby fixtures and it’s looking better and newer which will likely continue with new ownership.

The bad: I have previously recommended this dentistry to quite a few people, but a less than stellar cleaning experience this week followed by a poorly handled follow-up today have led me to not only seeking a new office but also suggesting to others to do the same. I saw Mallory for a cleaning and the temporary Dentist, who saw me before Mallory began the cleaning, commented that my teeth were in great condition and I should continue what I was doing.my scans proved the same, my teeth were good. After the most aggressive cleaning I have ever experienced, I knew something had gone wrong when I took a sip of room temperature water (once I got in my car) and felt a surge of sensitivity. I went home to see if things just needed to settle after the rigorous appointment and by afternoon had called for a new appointment because there was an obvious issue with a previous filling…I could see a hole in my tooth when I looked in the mirror. All that said, aside from Mallory not noticing the issue before my departure, oversight was the only point of aggravation and I still had positive feelings towards Green Dentistry as a whole. However, when I returned today, Vanessa (assistant) asked me what I was in for and I diplomatically told her about the sensitivity I left with and she took it upon herself to berate me for “blaming Mallory” even after I briefly entertained the conversation by letting her know I was not trying to fault anyone, I was simply there for the repair and to be on my way. Without going down a rabbit hole of he-said she-said in this review, I will say that Vanessa was removed from the situation and the temp Dentist fixed the issue with Sandra being the replacement for the assistant role (and btw Sandra is a doll, she handled it all with grace and I truly hope she walked away knowing what a major difference she made in my day). At the end of my appointment Vanessa came back into the room and said, “before you leave I wanted to say sorry that you felt like I was being rude”, and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know that an apology for someones feelings is not an apology for your own actions; that alone reiterated how poor Vanessa’s people skills are. I went from being somewhat displeased with a mistake and completely willing to overlook it to 100% put off by Vanessa’s attitude towards the situation and feeling the urgency to let others know about my horrific experience in order to make decisions on their own. Maybe Vanessa had a bad morning, so did I, but as the patient in this scenario I certainly shouldn’t have known she was struggling and her verbal abuse had me shaking and in tears.

To whomever responds to these reviews- I know you don’t discuss medical issues online, and this is not a medical issue. This is an issue of decent human care and a massive disregard for empathy in a setting where empathy is literally the only skill that was called for in the moment.

I am terrified of going to the dentist yet these kind people were so amazing and gentle.
10/10 in my book!

Dr Thomas and Sonya were fantastic! He had to give me shots in my entire lower jaw and never once felt even a twinge of pain! Highly recommend:)

Super sweet staff. Very welcoming and listened to my concerns. I had only ever been to my pediatric dentist and so I was quite nervous coming in. I had no reason to fear. They treated me like I was an old friend who had been coming there for years. My teeth feel clean and fresh. I will be recommending this office to everyone I know!

Everyone from the front desk to the dentists are pleasant and work to make a good experience out of something that is a chore. I recommend them to everyone who asks and now my 70yo parents are also patients, along with my teenage kids. They are great for everyone.

I was visiting from out of state and had extreme tooth pain. My brother recommended Dr. Green and I was good to go within 24 hours. Definitely appreciate everything!

How can a dentist put on their website they are for emergencies and then put you off a week! People could die from pain alone.
