Doctor Duke Carlson is one of the most thorough doctors I've ever met. Kind, caring, best bedside manner and very in tune to his patiences. I would never recommend anyone but him.

He listens.
He cares.
He is up to date on health news.
He has been my primary DR.for over 20 years.
He will be my primary Dr.for hopefully another 20 years.

This was not an appointment, I had a problem that had need of Dr Carlson. Got in the day I called, didn’t have to wait very long, as usual the doctor was thorough, listening to my problems and had an answer. I left feeling better physically and emotionally, thank you so much Dr Duke for being the best Dr in this area.

I just want to say that Dr. Carlson and his team are top notch. Appointments are always on time. Staff is friendly and put you at ease. Dr. Carlson homes in on your specific needs but he is also genuinely and sincerely concerned about your total physical and mental wellbeing. My last visit there was the hardest ever for me, but Dr. Carlson did not make me feel rushed or bad. He made the tough visit bearable with his kindness and I would recommend him times.

Dr. Carlson is one of the most caring and thorough doctors Ive found. He listens and just doesn't throw pills at it. Ive learned so many things about how to be in better health. I highly recommend Dr. Carlson.

Dr Carlson is an absolutely amazing physician. My husband and I both feel completely blessed to have him. He is not only a wonderful doctor but he is also has the compassion and kindness that cannot be taught. It comes from the heart. My husband had a Chest CT that was suspicious and Dr Carlson immediately referred him to an oncologist for further testing. I am so grateful for Dr Carlson and his awesome team too!

They both take time with you and make you feel like a person, not a test subject or like something is wrong with you.instead they instill love, patience, care, and medical knowledge. I am eternally greatful to have found this type of duo! The comfort in knowing my family has medical care we can trust, is a weight off my shoulders, I didn't know I needed. Absolutely the best doctor ever. I took my mom to see him (she hates computers so I'm doing her review for her). First off, it was a new patient appointment that lasted nearly an hour and a half. Dr. Carlson's nurse Kimberly was thorough and professional but also friendly and easy to talk to. As for the doctor, we'd always heard he was fantastic but he completely exceeded his sterling reputation. He listens, he's easy to talk to, he's incredibly knowledgeable. Best of all, he gets to the root of the issue - doesn't just prescribe a ton of meds. I HIGHLY recommend him - just a wonderful clinic and a fabulous doctor.

Had an appointment scheduled, and the office called at 6: 30pm to confirm my appointment at 8am the following morning. I took off work and drove the 30 minutes to their office, only to have a very unsympathetic employee in Dr. Carlson’s office call and cancel 10 minutes before the scheduled appointment. She said this was because the new patient paperwork that they had on file for me had a different doctors name hand written in at the top (even though it was the same exact same new patient form for Dr. Carlson’s office and they obviously had already blocked out the time slot for my appointment). All this while having extremely painful kidney pain. I would recommend looking elsewhere for medical care.

Dr. Carlson is the best physician I’ve ever had. I’ve been going to him for 15 years at least. Even I live 1.5 hours away now, I still drive back to Denison to see him. Dr. Carlson is very compassionate, kind, and genuine. He really listens to his patients and truly cares for them. Whatever health concerns I have, I always feel better after talking to him. Dr. Carlson is also a very good role model. He always gives great recommendations such as Mediterranean blue zone diet to improve overall healthy living style. And I can truly see him practicing the same thing he educates his patient base on his physical health. I Will highly recommend Dr. Carlson, you won’t regret it!

Dr. Carlson is truly one of the finest doctors I’ve seen in 65 years. He listens, he always has a game plan and gives easy and helpful directions to help in getting you back on a wellness track. And, his staff is able to return phone calls and see you, all in the same day. No waiting and worrying regarding health concerns. Our daughter and her family and my husband and I, all are so appreciative of Dr. Carlson and his staff, for our medical needs. We are definitely in good hands!
