My favorite dentist! They are always kind, gentle, and quick. The thing I like most is that the doc is clear and straightforward about your treatment options and results.

LOVE LOVE LOVE …DR. Kathy & her entire staff are Amaxing! Always friendly, knowledgeable, professional with great bedside manner. Also when Dr. Kathy gives out a referral…. USE IT. I went to see Dr. Mize… Unbelievable. Ditto on everything I just said & For his office staff as well. So professional! I could get a root canal every week & just be very happy!

I am extremely pleased with this dental office. Having been to quite a few dentists over the years, Dr. Kathy is clearly a cut above the norm. She takes pride in her work, loves what she does and is upbeat and personable. The office is comfortable and clean, and the staff is friendly and competent. So far I've had three visits to this office and all have exceeded expectations. Today I had quite a bit of work done and I am very impressed with the results. Highly recommend.

Very professional and did a great job on my crown! Crown was made in house so it was nice to do it all in one appointment. Being able to watch Netflix too was a great bonus! Would definitely recommend to others.

My experience at this dental office was far less than satisfactory. I'll start with 5 stars and deduct from there. 1. I removed one star because they charged a $10 PPE fee every time I went in. No other dentist does that.
2. Deducted one more star because they charged upfront for procedures that hadn't even been performed yet. I had to pay over $1,100 before weeks before I had a crown scheduled, which it ended up I didn't need. In all my years of going to dentists, no office has ever charged in advance.
3. One more star gone because instead of sending me straight to the endodontist before doing any procedures on my tooth, that the previous dentist had done in a similar situation, she proceeded to remove my crown and clean out the tooth. Turned out it was all unnecessary because the endodontist recommended pulling the tooth because it could not be saved. So I not only paid in advance for a procedure that was completely a waste of my time and hers, but she at first wasn't going to refund my initial deposit of $550, saying she had already done the work. She finally consented to refunding the entire amount, but she still billed my insurance company for $205 for other procedures that my Aetna Dental Plan should have covered. That $205 was deducted from my cap of $500 per year, so essentially it was money out of my pocket.
4. Minus one more star because she allowed the office receptionist to polish my teeth because Dr Shao had to work on another patient. By the end of the polishing, I had gritty sandy polish spread all over my mouth area and even splattered on my forehead. It was done very clumsily as if she had little to no experience doing it. That has never happened to me in my dozens of cleaning experiences over the past 40+ years.
5. Well, this would leave zero stars, but she said I had a cavity where I didn't. This was confirmed by the next dentist I went to, which I'm much, much happier with because the office is much more professional than this one.
6. And lastly, I was lied to, or lied to by omission, several times about my dental plan. The first question I asked before making the first appointment was if they accepted both my dental insurance and my dental plan. The office receptionist said yes, they do. She also confirmed it a second time, and the dental assistant didn't correct me when I told her that was why I chose their office. The receptionist finally admitted that they weren't under my dental plan, and I would have used that instead of my dental insurance to cover the costs. So, no, I do not recommend this dental office.

Dr. Kathy and her entire team are expert. They provide comprehensive diagnostics and take the time to answer all your questions regarding your treatment plan; something my previous dentist did begrudgingly.

Dr. Kathy and the staff have issues and can't stay on track and is they do horrible cleanings and dont listen to their patients. They constantly talk about personal lives and dr boyfriend and unnecessary stuff. Not professional at all. I will never take my kids or anyone I love there again. Not to mention she is constantly closing down the office for vacation. I need a reliable dentist. This isn't it.

I am so glad I found Dr Kathy. She and her team are very professional and does stellar work. I have been to other dental offices where they rush you through. With Dr Kathy, she takes the time to care for your teeth. I recently brought my kids to her practice and found out their previous pediatric dentist didn’t tell me about their cavities. I thought they were doing well but I guess not. Yes, I have heard some dentists may watch and see before they treat. However, in my son’s case, there is a hole in his tooth and I was told he had no cavities. How is a hole in his tooth normal? ! I am glad Dr Kathy corrected that. I prefer a dentist who isn’t afraid to tell me how it is or what is needed to prevent future complications. I rather fix it now than have further issues since the tooth is being watched. My family now goes to her.

Really happy to have found this team. Not only are they friendly, she does a thorough job.

Dr. Katherine and Team at GMD are excellent. I much care about dental care and Dr. Kat always take great care to make sure that her work is flawless and that she prescribes and provide the best treatment for me.

Dr Cathy and her staff are AMAZING! They make you feel welcomed. Every room has a tv playing your favorite tv show or movie. Her staff does a great job going over different options on dental procedures. I would definitely 10/10 recommend!

I recently got a root canal and an extraction here with Dr Kathy and I would definitely come back. Dr. Kathy and her staff made the procedure painless and fast. My experience was great from the moment I walked in, front desk was attentive and helpful. I have very bad anxiety when it comes to dentist and everyone was very patient and gentle with me. I love that I found this dental office! I would definitely recommend.

First time here. Went for a cleaning and checkup. They told me they would not do the cleaning that visit and that I would have to come back to get a deep cleaning. They said I had MANY cavities that needed filling. Got a second option and turns out I only needed a regular cleaning and couple of fillings.
Always get a second opinion and if this is your second opinion, get a third.

Friendly staff and great service. I have not had any trouble getting in to be seen. Enjoy the relaxing environment.
