Gruene Barks and Rec Boarding and Grooming, New Braunfels TX

This is truly the most awesome place! Gruene Barks and Rec is my Rowdy and Lucy’s happy place! They literally run in and don’t look back. The staff here is amazing and takes the best care of my fur babies

My puppies have been groomed and spent time at their daycare! Highest recommendation from us and our puppies! Everyone there are awesome and I trust them wholeheartedly!

Levi loves this place! He’s a very high energy German Shepherd that loves his social time with staff and other pups. Great staff! He’s happy when I pull into the driveway and later when I pick him up and that means the world to me.

Absolutely amazing service. This is the first time we had to board Tito (1 1/2 yr yellow lab).
He was there a total of 11 days. We loved seeing his photos occasionally on their facebook.
The staff was professional and courteous.

We have boarded our Mozzie twice and are so happy with the facility and staff. It is obvious how much they care about the pets in their care. His first visit was a long one so we were naturally a little nervous about how he would do. No need! He had a great time playing with the other dogs and even lost a little weight from all the running! Highly recommend!

We have been going here for grooming, boarding, and recently doggie daycare for almost 2 years. When we get out of the car my dog drags me to the door because he is so excited! I love that they take pictures and videos on their instagram so I can see my dog enjoying himself. Everyone who works here is so sweet and I can tell by how my dog reacts that he is very loved while in their care.

LOVE Gruene Bark and Rec! Our dog Buttons is a bit nervous and timid and has always come home from other boarders seeming pretty freaked out but not from Bark and Rec. We also LOVE their grooming service. They do a better quality job than anyone we have ever used.

My standard poodle had the best cut he has ever had and my mini Aussie looked so cute with his sporty cut. We are so happy to be client's of Gruene Barks & Rec! The family owned and operated facility is awesome.

I had great experience at this grooming place. Ladies were extra friendly and considerate with my 7 month old dog. He was a mess when he went in and looked like a million bucks after. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone who owns a dog.:)

We feel pretty comfortable leaving our pups here with their amenities and like seeing their Facebook updates when we are away. Great staff recommended.

Jonsey has stayed at Barks and Rec a number of times. Every time he has come home happy. He will be staying with them any time we go out of town!

My cats were comfortable and safe in a room to themselves. They had lots of places to climb and hide and play during their stay. I am much more relaxed on my vacation when I know my critters are well cared for as thet were at Gruene Barks and Rec.

They took such good care of my geriatric dog, Domino. I have had a very hard time finding someone who did a good job. This grooming was amazing. I will be back!

I love this place but more importantly my dogs do. They come home happy and I can tell it has been a positive experience. I love how they post their pics on Facebook playing. The staff is wonderful!

Our dog did great for her first time staying away from us. The staff were absolutely the best!

From the minute I walked through the door to drop my kitties off I was comfortable. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. They showed me to the room (yes, an entire room, not just cages) my girls would be staying in and let me get them settled in. The room was amazing, complete with an entire wall of boxes for the girls to climb in and around. They even had their own TV! They took great care of my babies and the cost was reasonable. Gruene Barks and Rec will always be my first choice when I need to board my cats.
